Once upon a time,
I cared.
I cared for the world,
For every person.
I cried with the hurt,
Held on to the broken,
Laughed, and
Laughed until they could not help
Smiling.
But one day, you appeared. The white Rabbit.
Lost,
Confused,
Desperate.
And I could not help but follow.
I chased you, until
I lost you.
And I fell.
I fell down the rabbit hole,
Spiraling out of
My control.
Reaching,
Grasping for a sense of reality,
But I could not find a single shred of
Normal.
"Who are you?"
They asked.
"Who am i?"
I asked.
I knew who I was, but I've changed a few times.
I lost myself
In this giant, confusing world.
Alone,
Lost,
Confused.
I lost myself in Wonderland,
Chasing you
White Rabbit,
and it's no one's fault but my own.
And you can bet,
that I will find my way back home.
I will find myself.
Wound will heal,
And scars will fade.
And do not dare think that because I have changed, because I lost who I was,
I will not care again
