Remember to breathe.
Remember to focus your mind.
Remember to drop the weight you carry on your shoulders.
Remember to loosen your grip.
Remember to feel this moment.
Remember to acknowledge your surroundings;
Every sound, every voice, every scent.
Remember to remember to that you are alive.
You are alive in this moment,
And the world around you is moving.
Remember that you are not irrelevant.
Remember that I said that you are important,
And that every second in every moment is a chance
To make this moment a beautiful one.
One that you will remember when we are no longer young.
When our skin has wrinkled,
And our eyes are full of bags,
With lines in our smiles from all our memories and laughter we have had.
Every moment should be lived and acknowledged,
Because when all is gone
And history has changed
Your truth will not be changed. And to the girl who gave me fries,
You gave me in seconds a moment that has lasted eons in my mind.
The freckles on your face,
That smile, so full of life,
And your short black curly hair.
You gave me a beautiful moment
Made of nothing but words.
Words that paint a picture in my mind.
I'm sure there are days when you feel alone, and you feel like you aren't beautiful,
As we all do,
But you are as beautiful as I will always remember,
And your relevance surpasses all you can think. You may escaped my space with nothing more than a smile for me to remember you by,
But I hope you find what you are looking for.
I hope you find who you are looking for.
I hope you get all the beauties of life you deserve and more.
