Build Me

In most religions
Words are sacred.
Sounds gave the power to relate to the
Divine.
To claim a name
Is to own it.
Words are transcendent.

So,
Think how words shape us.
How one word can make a day.
A word can destroy a life.

Words can disintegrate existence,
And reanimate a new one.

Words can collapse paradigms,
Break chains,
Free hearts.

So build me.
Build me a castle of vowels and verbs.
Build me a city of love songs and skycscrapers made of promises.

Build my bones and soul
Out of your whispers and smiles,
Spin gold from your lips and dress me in linen fit for kings.

Speak to me. Make me. Call my name. Need me.
Build me.
