Instead of asking up a storm of questions, I started to drift off on my own. I looked around the apartment with a resting adoring face. I was so dozed I could have walked off a ledge and not have known my situation until I hit the concrete. But I guess his voice was the cure.

"Ethan." he called out for me. I jumped and turned around for him, confused and a bit annoyed he would end my happy place so abruptly. "Talk to me."

I looked at him more confused and watched him as he came closer, "Sorry, I just hate silence." I nod and tried to lighten the mood.

"If we have to live with each other, will it get weird?" He looked at me confused. "Ya know, if I get annoyed by you," he let out a laugh that sounded like a sigh of relief and shaked my hair.

Chris made lunch for us and made me wait instead of help. I mean, I can help myself. I cooked and cleaned while my roommate did nothing for the last two years, so I could at least chop whatever vegetable he put in front of me. But I kept quiet, because that's what I do when it's awkward.

"What are you making?" I asked him finally when he was almost done.
"Sandwiches."
"But so many?"
"I have a hearty appetite," he put a plate of two slices in front of me and a plate of five in front of himself. I started to eat and feel subconscious so I did't look up. I knew he was looking at me so I refrained from being as uncomfortable as possible. I finally couldn't help it and looked up.

He gave me a warm smile. He didn't seem as weirded out as me or weirded out that I'm weirded out from him. I smiled back and he took another bite. I felt dorky so I finished my sandwich forcefully and got up from my seat and walked to the sink. I washed my plate and soon felt him behind me with his own empty plate.

"Were you hungry?" I asked.
"No, it's normal."

I smiled back at him and got out of the way once I was done washing my dish. He washed his and watched me the whole time. I seemed to be blushing and don't notice until he put his plate to dry.

"Um,...the bathroom?"

Chris pointed me to door and I quickly walked there.

My thoughts buzzed as soon as I locked myself in.
No, no no Ethan! You are not going to fall in love with an angel!

But my mind said back But you're an angel..
