We ran through the forest, the Boys looping and jumping through the tree branches. Wendy and I were practically racing to the Indian camp, until she was way ahead and suddenly stopped.

"Peter, where exactly is this Indian camp party?"

I stared at her quizzaly, "Didn't Tigerlily tell you?"

"It never really came up, she came looking for you when I asked her who she was. I never asked her for her address."

I laughed, " Wendy, we don't have addresses here..." I started walking forward until I realized something, "Whats an address anyway?"

"Oh Peter..."

"What? What is it?"

"Oh it's nothing, just some silly numbers on a house so you know where to find your home. Or in this case, a friends house."

"Oh, so it's a mortal people thing."

"Is that what you call us?"

"Well seeing as I'm immortal and everybody back on Earth isn't, yes."

"But you cannot age because you live here constantly. If you were to live on Earth then you would age."

"Why would I do that? To become old and gross? Not my kind of party, Wendy."

"Wait Peter, my parents! Oh no oh no oh dear! Peter they should have noticed I'm gone by now! Oh they must be worries sick!"

"Don't worry Wendy, I took care of it." I linked Wendy and I hands together and gave her a reassuring smile.

"What do you mean you took care of it?" She looked me dead in the eye and it honestly sent a shiver down my back.

"Well, Wendy, you see..." I rubbed the back of my neck with my hand, avoiding eye contacts with Wendy, "I was able to get George and Michael to cover for you. Also time moves by faster here than in London so you wouldn't be gone long, according to your London time anyway."

"So, I can't stay." She said barely above a whisper.

"Wendy, you would just have to go back and tell your parents--"

"Tell my parents what Peter? That their little girl is going to a mystical land with some wild boy, a stranger, who never ages? I might know a lot about your adventures Pan but I don't know a lot about you. This is crazy, I shouldn't even be here! I should be in my bed asleep about to wake up from this dream! My parents must be worried sick! I am such a fool!" And then she sat down on the ground and buried her head in her hands and started to cry. I crouched down on the ground next to her and nudged her with my shoulder. She just moved away from my touch, as if I was a disease.

"Wendy, I-"

"Not now Peter." She said lowly, head still in her hands. She pulled her knees up and rested her head against them, wrapping her arms around her legs. I just sat down in front of her crossing my legs Indian style and watched her body shake with her small sobs. The boys were most likely already at the Indian camp. People where probably wondering where we were by now, the sun was barely visible through the forest. What should I do? I'm not going to leave her but should I just shake her a bit and tell her to hurry up? No,no,no, I can't....should I just wait till she stops crying? But that could be ages.

"Oh Wendy, I'm sorry."

"What?" She sniffled. She was looking up at me now with her tear stained face and adorable red nose, "What were you saying Peter?"

"Uhm, I'm sorry Wendy. I wasn't thinking when I asked you to come with me. Well I was thinking but I was only thinking for my benefit rather than what effect this trip would have on you. I just like to spend time with you and lately I feel like we have done nothing but fight and I really don't want to fight with you because I really like you you're really cool and you're pretty and nice and you just--" I was cut off, again, by Wendy. However, this time she used her mouth by pressing it against mine. It felt, new and exciting...I wanted to try more. But she pulled away to quickly for me to enjoy the taste of her lips.
