Bonnie's here again. Apparently she screwed up. She knows what wrong with me or at least she thinks she does. I hope she's right this time I can't handle not knowing anymore.

"Elle! Thank god. We need to speak right now." She shot Damon a glare as if she as telling him to leave but I gestured for him to sit with me on the couch. He'd spent the last half an hour getting the fire going enough to keep me happy I wasn't about to let him walk away. Plus he deserves to know what's wrong with me. I could hardly get my words out before she started speaking again!

"Ok so I did some digging. Major family history search. I found out something that your favourite person forgot to tell us. Katherine never mentioned that she came from a family of travellers did she? Well she did and get this, her father was a very powerful member of the traveller community why you ask? Because of who his wife was. Evangeliya Petrova. Or formally known as Evangeliya Sirena. Do either of you want to take a guess on what her last name means? I didn't think so. Well it means Siren in Bulgarian. Siren is also a name for well for mermaids."

I'm confused. How does this link to me in any shape or form? Fair enough if it related to forests or woods in any way but mermaids don't.

"Elle don't give me that death glare. Listen there's more. Everyone always assumes mermaids live in the ocean and have no choice about their tails and all that stuff but that's a myth. There are so many types of mermaid and Sirena just so happened to be a forest dwelling mermaid. By that I mean she inhabited the lakes in the forests and even some rivers. Very rare kind of mermaid. So here's how it relates to you. Technically you and Katherine are related if you go back far enough so you are also related to Evangeliya meaning you too have the blood of a mermaid running through your veins. This skips a lot of generations but when I decides to pop up again it tends to happen to a large amount of people all at once. It has to be triggered." This makes sense I mean none of this started happening until I was pregnant with Lia. She triggered me, she brought forth this. It all makes perfect sense now.

"So Basically I'm a fish? Wow fun." Ugh I can really be a bitch sometimes. "I mean thanks Bon" I had to hug her you know and show some sort of affection, after all she's done so much for me recently I owe her.

Bonnie left with Elena and here I am alone again. Alone as always. I began sniffling my nose and my eyes became agitated, damn these hormones. I shouldn't be going through this not again, not at my age. I should be out with friends drinking, having fun, sleeping with guys and not worrying about babies and children. This is the hand I was dealt and nothing will change that I just have to carry on and make the most out of what I have.

"Elle Baby, I was thinking we could carry on where we left off?" Trust Damon to come in and suggest having sex in a house full of people.

"Damon, you do realise that both Jeremy and Stefan are home, Lia is literally two rooms away and Lexi is downstairs? I can't have sex with you when everyone's home!" I let out a hearty laugh oh god I love him, even if he does have stupid ideas.

"Jeremy and Stefan can go out, Lexi can take Lia to the park? Come on, We never do anything."

"Well why don't we go for a walk? Me, You and Lia?" That cheeky Damon smirk lit up his face once more as he pulled me off of the bed and to my feet. Luckily I was still dressed from before and so was he so that just left little miss Lia to put something on.

I dressed her in a pair of black leggings and a tunic style top, no one would even see what she was wearing anyway, her huge parka coat made sure of that! What can I say? Its cold out I don't want her catching a cold, plus we match ok. We headed out the door and walked toward the forest. It was perfect, Damon's hand in mine, Lia on his shoulders. This is what I want it to be like always.

The cool air brushed against my face and blew my hair all over, Lia let out a high pitched giggle and Damon practically wet himself. I didn't understand why until I realised that half of my hair was sticking up like sonic the hedgehog. How embarrassing. Without any warning everything began to spin. My legs became weak and before I could even register what had happened I was on the ground.
