Dr. Reign's office

"I'm so glad you decided to come!" Dr. Reign said, as she approached me with opened arms. I gave her a tight hug and a small smile.
"Me too." I sighed.
"The session will be in room 13, you know the hallway in the lobby. Just go ahead and I'll meet you and the rest of the group down there. I still have a couple things I need to wrap up here." she explained while searching through some files.
"Okay." I said while rubbing my arm and walking out of her office.
I pressed the down button for the elevator and patiently waited for its arrival. When it came, I entered and pressed G and watched as the doors slowly came in contact.
"Hold the elevator!"
I quickly stuck my hands through the door, silently praying they would re-open.
They did.
"Thanks." I watched as he entered the elevator. I took a step back a little. He scared the crap out of me. He wore black head to toe and dark sunglasses that hid his eyes. But he did have nice hair.
"No problem." I finally responded.
I could feel him staring at me but I just ignored it. As the elevator reached the ground level, I went left and the strange guy went right.
I approached the door to room 13. I just waited outside the door as I tried to console myself.
Come on Carter, you can do this! If anything just be yourself. I thought to myself.
I slowly turned the knob of the door and entered the room. There was already a group of people sitting around in a circle.
Everyone just seemed to ignore my presence.
The room was quiet. No one spoke. Most just stared at the plain walls, while others messed around on their electronic devices.
Finally Dr. Reign arrived.
"Sorry for keeping you all waiting." She sincerely while taking a seat.
"Where is Jacob?" she asked.
No one responded.
