Dr. Reign refused to begin without this Jacob person. So we all just sat their bored as hell. Suddenly the door swung open and the same guy from the elevator appeared.
"Jacob! Nice of you to join us!" Dr. Reign said clearly annoyed.
I watched as his feet slowly made its way to the seat across from me.
We briefly made eye contact.
The session went on. Some people spoke, others listened.
I was a listener.
I felt Jacobs stare the entire time. I got a little uncomfortable and began playing with my fingers.
The session ended and I decided to leave my car here and walk to Starbucks before heading home. I waited in line until it was my turn.
"What can I get you?"
"Green tea please." I responded
"Is that all?" Asked the guy behind the counter. He had caramel skin and hazel eyes. He was cute, but I wasn't interested.
"Yes." I responded simply.
"Are you sure? How about you do something for me?"
I don't like where this is going.
"And what would that be?" I said expressionless.
"How about you give me your number?" he smirked.
I sighed get frustrated.
"Can I just have my tea?" I said uninterested as I adjusted the strap on my purse.
"You got a boyfriend or something, cause I guarantee I could treat you better then him?"
"Excu--" I got cut off.
"Hey babe." I turned and saw Jacob standing beside me. He gave me this look, so I decided to play along.
"Hey." I gave him a kiss on the cheek. I could've sworn I seen him blush! I turned my attention back to the guy behind the counter.
"So about that drink." I stated awkwardly.
He began glaring at Jacob.
"Here." He said while holding out my tea.
He gave me my drink, but still kept his eyes on Jacob.
"OK then." I said while looking at the both of them.
Weird.
As I walked away, I felt Jacob's hands wrap around my waist. I flinched at the sudden touch. He does know that were done acting? right?
I took a seat at a table and so did he.
He didn't say anything, so I decided to break the silence.
"Thanks for that." I told him remembering my manners.
He simply nodded.
We just sat in silence. I didn't want to look at him, so I decided to look else where. I noticed that everyone from Dr.Reigns group session was here.
This was officially awkward.
"It was nice..uh sitting with you Jacob, but I think I'll just leave." I said while gesturing to the door. I got my tea and stood up.
"Wait!" he yelled
"Yeah," I said.
He had both hands in his pockets. He seemed nervous.
"Want to go on a walk with me?"
"I don't really know you!" I responded.
I mean he could be a rapist for all I know!
"Well we are dating." He joked.
A small chuckle escaped my mouth.
I smiled. "Why not."
