"Lucy, are you done in the bath yet?" I pounded on the door, irritation clear in my voice. I had been standing outside the bathroom for more than ten minutes in a towel, needing to get ready. I can't say I regret letting her become my roommate but if this was going to be an everyday thing we weren't going to get along as much as I had hoped. This was the first person I've lived with other than Master Makarov, I could never room with Natsu or Happy.

The two ate like animals and the only time I've ever been to their house, I left screaming my head off.

But I have to admit, Lucy moving in was perfect with how low on money I was - we needed to start doing more missions but at least splitting the rents cost calmed me down. When she finally emerged from the steam filled bathroom, I practically ran inside. After our last mission I needed a good, hot shower. Me and the cold?

Not a good mix.

Most likely why Gray and I didn't get a long so well.

Once I was out, same old towel around me, I turned to make my way towards our room. It was pretty spacious enough for the both of us and I was expecting to see Lucy dressed and ready for me... until I saw the complete opposite. She too was in her towel, beating the living shit out of Natsu and Happy.

"What the hell are you guys doing here!?" I squeaked, my arms crossed to keep what little cloth I had from falling and went to grab her arm, pulling her back. "Heel." My small glare made her stand down but she was still seething with anger.

"Geez we just wanted to see how Lucy was settling in." Natsu rubbed his cheek where she kicked.

"You two should have called to inform us maybe? Almost getting a two woman show."

"It's not like we haven't seen anything you've got before."

"I'm not a tween with a chest as flat as yours anymore! I hit puberty a long time ago." I growled as Lucy rubbed my back and let out a deep sigh. "Now, now, Rose. These are our friends, even though their complete idiots we have to treat them to some extent like their human beings. Except for Happy." She smiled which made the talking cat start scratching at the walls.

Now he crossed the line.

"Okay that's it!" I grabbed him by his scruff and positioned to throw him out the window.

"Natsu hurry she's going to throw me!" He cried out, wiggling around. It was just a few meter drop... maybe if I did it quick enough nobody would object. Although his friend couldn't even help him if he tried, too busy being thrown across the bedroom by Lucy. "That's nothing!"

"If it's nothing why did you assault me!"

I tossed Happy onto my bed, letting him live for now, and grabbed the pile of papers Lucy held so close to her chest. "Awe, he touched someone's precious novel huh?" I couldn't help but tease her a little. She was an incredibly talented writer, I couldn't even dream of producing half of the work she did. My traits only consisted of klutziness and other un-useful junk.

She snatched them away from me - stuffing it into her desks drawer. "You guys are so infuriating!"

"Well, I don't know about you guys but I'm going to get dressed." I, no longer caring about the situation, went over to my wardrobe grabbing some shorts and a tank to - changing in the bathroom. When I rejoined the group, tea had been made and the boys were sitting at the kitchen table with Lucy discussing her Celestial Spirit Keys.

"Are you guys interested in seeing a Celestial Wizard make a contract with a Celestial spirit?" She winked before taking out a small ring where she kept them. Three were Silver while the other three were Gold. With me, they had seen every spirit known to man but I never had to make contracts with them so maybe for the boys this was a good learning opportunity.
