I looked over a cliff, down at Kanagi station.
This was where the train had last been seen after being hijacked by the Eisenwald Guild. We had parked the Magic Mobile up here to observe everything and give Erza a rest because I swear that thing was draining her like a leech. "Isn't it weird that they'd choose a train of all ways of transportation?" Lucy stuck her head out of the window.
"Well from what I've told you they're going to try and get to Clover, it's where the Guild Masters conference is being held. It's over after today, so that's most likely why they took a train instead of any other form of transportation." I explained, smoothing my hair back. It sounded about right and if I was on the right track with all this we'd need to get moving fast.
Erza started the bad boy up again and everyone piled back inside, Gray and I threw ourselves up top on the roof once more. At first we were going at a mild pace before she had thrown in all her magical energy. We had notched up to a much faster pace and at this point it was becoming dangerous letting her be in charge of driving and steering. Countless times we had almost been thrown off, but I was just glad Gray kept his clothes on. "You need to stop! You're going way too fast, you're going to break the damn thing!" He shouted down to her.
"I can't, so many innocent people's lives are at stake here! We have to stop Eisenwald before it's too late, we have to!" Erza didn't listen to anyone but herself, once she was passionate about something there was no stopping her but by this rate she'd have no Magic left to fight and we couldn't afford such a loss. "Please, we're going to need you in battle! There's no way we can take them down without all four of us working together!" I slid over a bit as we rocked another turn.
"I'll have to rely on hand to hand combat! I chose you guys for a reason, with or without me I know you can take them down." She looked over her shoulder with an actual real smile before turning her eyes back on the road. As we came upon Oshibana Station, there was black smoking rising from the middle of it.
This meant trouble.
A large crowd of people stood around, making Erza finally stop our vehicle.
I slid off, running to the center of this predicament with my team.
"Excuse me sir, can you tell me what's going on inside?" I walked up to the one of the stations workers with a sweet smile, being as cute and polite as possible was necessary in order to get what I wanted. Erza was the complete opposite from me, punching and headbutting all the people that didn't answer her questions.
"Some Dark Guild is inside, we sent in a small army unit a while ago but they still haven't returned."
I thanked him and turned to my team. "We need to get going! Eisenwalds inside." I briefly said before running off towards the entrance of the station. I had to protect my father, I just... I had to. I would do anything for the old man and he knew that, if only I could have gotten in touch with him to tell him the horror that was coming after him and the other Guild Masters.
Everyone followed behind me, Lucy having to heave Natsu onto her back and to my surprise she was stronger than she looked but then again she was struggling a bit. Erza took charge after a while, leading us down the large station until we came to a staircase where a couple of soldiers resided unconscious.
Lucy looked horror-stricken and I couldn't blame her. "Are they... dead?"
I bent down and placed two fingers on one of the soldiers necks, then to his wrist to feel for a heartbeat. "He's breathing, it seems they only did enough damage to knock them out. These guys need help," I got up and walked back over to my friends, "They were up against an entire Guild of Wizards, it's a miracle they aren't dead."
