"I can't believe we're following a cat, AGAIN." Lucy was yelling and throwing her hands around. "This probably the fifth time you've gotten us lost!"

We were all incredibly tired and irritable, walking through somewhere in Web Valley which was located deep within Clover Canyon. Legend has it that many adventurers either brave or foolish have entered this place only to decorate it's landscape with their bones. "We've already been over this, I have a great sense of smell! This is actually the only time I've gotten us lost!" Happy huffed as we all stood around for a break.

Walking hadn't been easy on us, and all we wanted to do was go home. I had never been so tired before in my entire life and soon starvation was going to hit me like a truck in the next few hours. "Man I want some food." Natsu groaned looking as pale as the white ground beneath them. "We all do, stop talking about it, it'll just make us hungrier." Gray had his teeth clenched as he spoke.

Things between him and I hadn't really been the best after our almost kiss. It just seemed to make us hate each other more now so maybe that was a sign, I didn't know what could have made me think any different about that cold-hearted bastard. "He can't help it if he's hungry, quit picking on him for everything." I barked at him with my hands on my hips.

"He keeps running his mouth it's getting annoying. Just like how you are being right now." He rolled his eyes and crossed his arms. "Really? How about you say that again?" She engulfed my fist in water and put it in front of his face.

Erza got between us as her stomach growled. "Enough!"

The four of us looked at her while Master Makarov had his eyes closed. "Your stomach... is growling..." Natsu mumbled with amazement, his hands at his side. "No, it's not. You're always hearing such stupid things." She crossed her arms throwing on her tough face.

She wasn't one to show weakness of course, being the strongest woman in Fairy Tail alongside me. If she was hungry too, that just meant we were all in deep trouble. The mood over our group was sad and rather gloomy, something I couldn't stand so to try and keep a positive attitude I walked in front of everyone happily before a hand wrapped around my wrist, just pulling me back. It was Gray who merely looked down at me.

"Don't get separated from us we have no idea what's out here."

I ripped my hand away from him taking a step forward to assume my last position. "Why do you care what happens to me? I can take care of myself."

"In this condition? No, you can't take care of yourself. We had to change your bandages five times before we got here just because you kept constantly bleeding through them." He walked faster to catch up with me.

First he acts like an ass and now someone who's concerned?

He really had my feelings messed up and I wasn't about these games. "They're not bleeding anymore, so I'm fine. I think I'm just as well as you are right now." I looked at him with a glare before crashing into something that was hard and tall. It felt like a pillar as I fell back and looked up at a cement standing. Behind it were a couple of buildings... a village.

And what did villages have?

Food.

Gray smirked. "Exactly why I said to stay with the group." He then walked past me with the rest of the team, and I got up trailing behind. "Oh can it!" I shouted before getting into the spirit of the thought of having something in my stomach.

We ended up in the middle of the village, but there was no sign of life anywhere.

I walked over to a random house, knocking. "Hello? Anyone home?"
