Niall's P.O.V

"Oh god, HARRY!" I exclaimed as I went in to catch his unconscious self before he could hit the ground.

This has never happened before...

I mean, yes, he's had panic attacks in the past, but they were never that bad enough to cause him to pass out!

Using all the strength I could muster up, I carefully lifted my knocked out best friend into my arms and laid him down on the sofa, grabbing one of the cushions and placing it under his head to prevent his neck from straining.

After doing so, I angrily turn to the Princess who seems to not be affected by what she had caused to the Prince of this kingdom.

"Princess Averie, look what you've done!"

"Excuse you, servant boy. Did you honestly just raise your voice at me?"

She's dodging the topic!

"Oh, I'm sorry your highness." I sarcastically say, rolling my eyes.

I don't give a damn if she's a royal or not. She hurt my best friend!

"Wait until my father hears about your behavior, you'll be a peasant on the streets in no time."

"Oh yeah? Well wait until King Robin hears about what you've done to his son. You'll be banned from returning to this kingdom in no time." I retaliate.

My comeback has her gaping in shock before she angrily storms off, most likely to go find her father so she can tell on me.

Ha! Not if I beat her to it. She barely knows how to get around the castle, while as I know this place like the back of my hand.

"I'll be right back, H." I tell him, even though I know he couldn't hear me, being unconscious and all.

With that said, I walk to the opposite direction of where Princess Averie went, knowing that the path she took is going to lead her to the gardens.

I can't wait till she's out of here.

"Are you serious?" I ask, confused with the information my 'girlfriend' is telling me.

For the past hour she's been helping me remember things that don't ring a bell at all. I can't recall anything.

"I wouldn't lie to you, babe. The Prince with curly hair and green eyes was the one who caused your amnesia. He's a menace and only cares about himself. Please, believe me."

"I-I do! At least, I think I do..."

She's been telling me things like how my best friend -Liam was it? Yeah I think so-, abandoned me in the woods cause he was apparently tired of me, and how the Prince and his servant came out of nowhere to beat me up for their own pleasure, but before they could, Eleanor found me. The Prince got angry and pushed me to the ground, and I hit my head pretty hard on a rock which caused my amnesia.

"Then where's my family?"

Eleanor gives me a sad look before answering, "the Prince sentenced them to death since he didn't get to beat you. I'm sorry."

"WHAT?!" I exclaim in disbelief.

How could someone be so cruel?

My eyes welled up with tears at the thought of not having anyone I loved with me anymore. Well, aside from Eleanor.

"Y-you won't leave me, right?" I looked up to see her smiling sympathetically at me.

"Never. I love you."

"I...I love you, too."

Niall's P.O.V

I was about to knock on the door to King Robin's study when I heard arguing behind the door. It was muffled but I knew it was King Robin and King Cowell.

Would it be wrong to eavesdrop?

"My son will NOT marry your daughter!"

I jump back in surprise from the loudness of the voice.

Okay, I think that's my cue to interrupt and end their feud. It's important anyway.

"Your highnesses." I bow, entering the room after I heard King Robin give me permission to go in.

"Is there something wrong, Niall?"

"Er...yes, your highness. Umh, it's Prince Harry."

The two Kings stare at me expectantly so I continued, "Princess Averie caused him to have a panic attack and pass out."

"What?! Is he alright?!"

"I'm not so sure emotionally, King Robin, but physically he is."

After the words leave my mouth, Harry's father furiously turns to the other King, fuming, "my decision is final. My son will not marry nor even associate with someone who causes him pain. Please, leave this Kingdom and never return."

I expected King Cowell to protest, but he doesn't.

"Very well." He says, standing up from his seat and making his way to the door, but not before saying, "this isn't the last time you hear of me, Robin." And then he's gone.

...what just happened?

"Niall, where's my son?"

"In the living room, your highness. Shall I bring him to his bed chambers?" I ask.

"Yes, please do."

"Alrigh-"

"Oh, and Niall?"

"Yes, King Robin?"

He shoots me a weak smile and pats me on the back, "thank you for being there for my son."

"Of course. I care about him like he's my own brother." I tell him truthfully.

"And I'm grateful for that." He nods at me, "Why don't you take the rest of the day off and stay with Harry, yeah? Make sure he's fine when he wakes up? As much as I'd want to be with him, I have a Kingdom to rule." He admits sadly.

I flash him a reassuring smile and nod, "don't worry, your highness, Harry will be fine."

I just hope his heart is, too.

As the two royals from Mundesy enter their carriage headed back to their Kingdom, Princess Averie turns to her father and speaks up,

"Father, I apologize for my behavior back there, I did not intend to-"

"I know, Averie. It is alright." King Cowell cuts her off.

"But your plan-?"

"Will still go on." He finishes for her, smiling devilishly, "I have acquaintances who can help. Trust me, my dear, once we've gotten hold of that curly haired Prince, King Robin will have no choice but to let us have it our way."

The Princess then asks, "what about his peasant boyfriend?"

"You mentioned earlier his lack of presence was the reason why the Prince had a panic attack, yes?"

"Yeah..."

"Then he won't be a problem. All peasants do is cause trouble, only wanting to gain power and control, I have no doubt he's been cheating on the poor Prince already."

Both royals laugh at that.

"I thought the exact same thing, father."

King Cowell smiles proudly at his daughter, "you will be a wonderful Queen then, dear."
