The walk all the way to the castle consisted of confused stares and concerned murmurs from the village people. Liam had to quickly make up a believable reason to why he had their Prince in his arms, looking quite dazed and tired."Is that Prince Harry?"
"What's wrong with the young lad?"
"What happened to him?" Some citizens asked.
"He's just worn himself out from running s'all. Had a little game of hide and seek and wouldn't give up on trying to get away from me. Silly boy he is." Liam explains, hoping his chuckle at the end didn't seem too forced or laced with nervousness.
Thankfully, the people were satisfied with the answer, not entirely convinced but they didn't know the Prince well enough to know what he does or how he is. He only started going out not too long ago.
A sigh of relief leaves Liam's mouth as he makes it in front of the castle doors. It isn't that he's tired of carrying the curly haired boy, because he isn't, he only wants to know what happened to him a few minutes ago.
"Wait, Li...put me down."
"You sure, H? I don't think you can-"
"Please...I don't want my dad knowing my condition might have gotten worse." The boy pleads.
Hesitantly, Liam places the Prince back on his feet, but keeps a hand on his shoulder and forearm to steady him when noticing the slight sway in his movement.
To their luck, they didn't have a run in with the King as they make it to Harry's bedroom, Niall already on his feet the moment he hears the door open.
"Haz, you're back!" The blonde servant boy bounds over to them, "...and with Liam? No offense, Li, but why isn't Louis with you?"
The mention of his name has Harry bursting into tears, Liam's grip on him the only thing preventing him from falling to the floor as he sobs brokenly.
Knowing the poor boy wasn't physically and emotionally stable to tell his best friend the previous happenings, Liam filled him in on what he missed.
"I swear, Niall, the girl he was with must have casted a spell on him or something! I've known Louis for most of my life, I know he wouldn't say or do such things."
Niall rubs Harry's back comfortingly after he and Liam got him to sit down on his bed, "I believe you, Li. If I'd known about it I wouldn't have allowed Harry to go see him. It'd only cause his condition to worsen."
Liam quirks a brow, "what is his condition, exactly?"
"He has Stress Cardiomyopathy." Niall says, and tells him all he knows about his best friend's heart condition.
Harry surprisingly fell asleep on Liam's shoulder, the run in with Louis and his 'girlfriend' finally taking its toll on him, so the puppy eyed lad carefully lays him down on his bed.
"So...what should we do now?" Asked the blonde boy after Liam finished tucking the sleeping Prince in, "I know for a fact Harry isn't going to get over what Louis did to him, even if he wasn't himself."
"I know..." The brunette boy trails off, "we have to find Louis. But problem is, where do we look?"
