Jaylynn's mother lugged at her. It all happened so quick that she barely had time to react. Her mother was now on top of her; her full mass weighed down on her. She gritted her teeth and fought her mother off, or at least tried to.

Jaylynn had a front row seat of her mother's face. The mother had big, bulging yellow eyes, teeth black as well as gums snapping at her. Her skin was already a light green, and horrible boils and blisters covered her entire body.

The mother almost succeeded in getting her target, but Jaylynn kneed her mother in the stomach. Her mother's yellow eyes bulged out of her eye sockets and fell onto Jaylynn's face.

Out of disgust, she smacked the still lolling eyeballs off of her face and then quickly stood up to face her mother. Her mother, now on the floor, was feeling around or her eyeball. But somehow she was still alive.

It was only a matter of time before her mother sniffed Jaylynn out. So, she got her mother's high heeled shoe and stabbed her mother in the head with the heel. The heel entered softly because of the decaying flesh.

Jaylynn then began to cry tears of sorrow and despair for her dear mother. The tears were hot, fogging up her vision. Her little sister, Brooke, was standing in the doorway. She witnessed the whole killing. Jaylynn felt a presence behind her, and she turned around to find her sister in the door, her blanket draped over her, crying.

Jaylynn stood up on her knees, shuffled over to Brooke, and held her arms open wide for her. Her sister came into her arms, and they hugged each other. They both cried, but Jaylynn, through her tears, rocked Brooke back and forth to comfort her.

It was night time, the most dangerous time to be outside, but Brooke and Jaylynn didn't know that yet. Brooke had fallen asleep in Jaylynn's arms. She released her hold on Brooke and carried her to her room, where she placed her down on her bed.

Jaylynn stood and the end of Brooke's bed, watching her sleep. She suddenly became angry at herself for letting her little sister witness the murder of their mother. Their mother loved them very much, always teaching them, preparing them for life.

Jaylynn felt tears welling up in her eyes and her throat swelling with emotion. Their mother always wanted the best for the sisters. Jaylynn did what she felt like was the best and killed their mother.

Though her heart ached, and tears fell down her cheeks, she forced herself to go to her room. Her head hung low, thoughts swirling. She got into her bed, curled up in a ball, and cried herself to sleep.
