Angel's POV
"MOVIMENTO, TONYA," Angel shouted at her younger sister.
They were both dashing down their stairs, trying their best to get away from their diseased father. They were now at the bottom of the stairs. As Angel quickly felt around her waist for her gun, her father approached, coming down the stairs.
His once dark, rich Mexican skin was now the color of spoiled broccoli, covered in boils filled, with pus. He could barely walk as his feet were blistered, filled with even more pus. The father grunted as he fell down the stairs, right on top of Angel. She started to scream in agony as her father clawed at her skin. Tonya was watching the entire scene unfold before her. She was completely in shock, rooted to the ground. Her sister's screams brought her back to reality.
Tonya quickly dashed into the kitchen, looking for any sharp object. She found and picked up a butcher knife that was lying on the countertop. Her sister's screams grew louder by the second, filling the void house with energy. Tonya ran back to the staircase to find her sister swatting and hitting their father in any place she could get her hands. Their father was leaning down on Angel now, getting ready to finish his prey.
Tonya ran forward screaming, "NO MI HERMANA!" and stabbed d their father continually in the back of the head until he fell dead on the carpet floor. Blood spattered Tonya's face as her chest heaved up and down as she tried to catch her breath.
"Gracias...," Angel said to Tonya in a whisper.
" De nada," Tony replied.
Tonya carefully held Angel up underneath her arm. Angel was slumped against Tonya as she struggled to get her to the downstairs bathroom. Angel weakly turned the nob of the door and barely managed not to fall face forward as Tonya caught her.
Tonya set Angel down on the floor and lifted up her shirt. Angel winced in pain as the sticky, bloody fabric lifted from her wounds.
" I'm gonna have to disinfect it," Tonya stated in her squeaky voice. " Want me to do it still?"
"Ah, just get it over with."
" Alrighty then."
