A small yawn ripples through my lips, and i slowly stretch, but stopped as i heard a small grunt behind me. I couldn't help but giggle, turning on my side, facing the scarred male with a small grin. His green eyes slowly opens, and he slowly returns my smile, moving his arm to pull me close.

" morning," i tease him as i slowly sit up from where i lay.

I only got a grunt in return, as koba also got up, as he pulls me against him again. I noticed haze walk in, milo snug against his chest, giving out soft snores.

" what's wrong?" i asked while signing to my son.

' grandfather has come to visit,' he smiles at me.

I nod to him in thanks, turning to koba as i give him a small kiss on his cheek, and hugging him before leaving our hut. I smiled as i saw dad and mom, running over to the two, glomping them in a hug.

" hey kiddo," laughs dad and i grin at him.

" why are you guys here?" i ask looking at them.

" we heard you and koba got married," mom smiles at me.

" and we wanted to see you," dad adds with a grin, " make sure that you are actually happy here."

I laugh at him, shaking my head in disbelief, my eyes meeting his blue ones.

" i'm happy here dad, don't worry," i assure him.

" good," he smiles and hugs me again.

" did caesar tell you the news?" i looked at mom in confusion.

" what?" i asked her.

Ellie, who i now presumed to call my mom, since she has felt like one when we met again smiled. I look to dad for an answer, until i heard a thump behind me, and turned to see caesar.

He smiles to me, and gave a short nod to my parents, and i looked at the three.

" we plan on making a peace treaty between humans and apes," dad says with a grin.

" really?!" i asked my mouth slowly agap as they nodded.

I immediately hugged the two, a squeal of excitement escaping my lips, as i couldn't stop smiling.

Letting go of them, i turn to caesar and he smirked, to which i hugged him as well.

Things became calm, as mom and dad enjoyed their visit, and me and koba did too. I couldn't help but smile, watching milo interact with his human grandparents, taking a small liking to his uncle alexander. Koba sat next to me, as he ate his meal quietly, watching our son as he made small faces towards my brother.

' i am going to speak with caesar,' he signs and leaves me with my family.

Mom came to take his place, as she grinned at me, still holding milo in her arms.

" hey."

" hey," i smile as milo climbs on my back inspecting my hair.

I saw her still looking at me, her small grimace of a smile, still plastered on her face.

" what?" i asked.

" have you two planned on a honeymoon yet?" she asks nonchalantly.

Looking away instantly, i could feel my face heating up, and i could hear her laughing softly.

" haven't planned that far?" she asks.

" yeah," i laugh embarrassed.

She gave a small chuckle.
