Not long after Isaac has left Stiles can still feel the ping of guilt in his stomach.

Isaac wouldn't - couldn't - have known about his fathers death - everyone who would have kept in touch with him are all gone, forever.

'Forever'

The word glues to Stiles' mind and the memories rush back.

"Stiles! Get off the dog! He's not a horse you know" they both laughed in joy as their dog, Bailey , strolled across the garden carrying Stiles on his back.

Tears rush through Stiles eyes as he remembers every memory - good and bad - gather in his mind all at the one time.

He is filled with many emotions but he doesn't know how to let them out so he just places his face into his hands and begins to sob.

As soon as the door knocks and opens he finds it hard to speak. It's Lydia.

"Honey, what's wrong?" She says running over to me. I can see her face is full of concern and her movements reassure me that every thing is okay.

She places her hand on my shoulder after hugging me and it feels good to know that this could have meaning to it.

No matter what life throws my way some one will always be behind me to catch me when I fall.. To push me and keep me going through a tough time.

They stay in silence until they are finally feeling abit better than before.

Lydia takes Stiles hand and before he can question her she kisses him to make him remain silent and takes him out through the office.

She takes her scarf off and ties it around his eyes.

She kisses him again - heavier than before - just as he is about to question her again.

Stiles mind is rushing again but this time all thoughts are on her. It's been a long time since something on the lines of this has happened.

He feels so curious as to what they are walking towards but to him it is a mystery.

He can feel her hand guiding him through a hallway. It smells vile, like a sewer, but he doesn't question her.

Soon she stands behind him and untied the knot. His eye sight is first blurry, with black dots covering his eyes, but soon they adapt to the lighting.

His mouth drops open. In shock or amazement, he doesn't know, all he knows is that he can't stop his eyes from staring through every inch of the room.

"I guess I thought this could help you."

He stares around the room in amazement.

'My dad's office, the sheriffs office.' Is all he can think to himself.

After the bomb they had to build a new office but they never fully got rid of the remains of the shattered building, they just left them unused and hidden.

It looks beautiful. Lydia has lots of candles around the room and there are pictures of Stiles and his dad everywhere.

His face drops and the tears begin to blur his vision when he sees the picture of him of Bailey. He remembers the day as if it was yesterday.

Lydia walks up behind him giving him a fright which causes him to jump "If it's too much we can just leave".

Stiles nods his head - eyes scanning every inch of the room - Lydia sits on the chair that a guest of this office would sit on and Stiles walks to the Sheriffs chair.

He can feel his heart beating faster, as he clutches to the arm chair.

Stiles stands up thanking Lydia and before they leave they make sure to blow out all candles.

"Thank you"

"You've already thanked me, Stiles."

"I know but I just... I didn't think I would ever be able to step back in there since there are so many memories but you helped me push through that fear so thank you."

Lydia looks up meeting Stiles eye and for a split second in that moment everything is gone. They are the only two people in the room. It is them against the world.

When that moment ends they make their way towards their car and drive home together.

There wasn't much talking but silence is all that they needed.

As soon as they arrived home Isaac was sitting on the porch step. Lydia looked at Stiles in amazement.
