- Stiles -

I decided to take time off today, Lydia is coming home from New York and I was hoping I could collect her from the airport, I still haven't heard back from her since yesterday. I hope everything is okay.

It's only 11am and they will be arriving back at the airport in 12 hours so I have plenty of time but I have a lot planned.

I need to check in at the police department for a few hours but hopefully I can go to my Fathers grave, I completely forgot about it yesterday.

---

Today will be a busy day. I grab my shoes from the end of my bed and then I rush to tie my laces, I jog down to the kitchen to finish my left over orange juice from the breakfast I finished, a bowl of Cheerios, I walk out to my jeep then put the car in motion.

That's my exercise for the day.

---

"Hello?" I shout loud enough so everyone can hear me but so far there seems to be no response from anyone, I knock on the door one more time but then I rush back to my jeep to grab my keys.

You should've brought the keys in the first place, as soon as I have my keys in hand I rush back to the entrance hoping maybe someone heard me.

Why are the doors locked, with everyone inside the department should be kept open to avoid giving the impression that we shut the people out.

Where is everyone?

As soon as I enter the building I automatically cover my nose, there was a strong stench of something rotting.

The reception is empty, it's only 12am, lunch hour isn't until 2pm.

The receptionist should always be behind the desk, coffee is made and brought to her by a nearby officer, it all depends on who is free but she rarely leaves her area. I guess she doesn't trust many people to do the job correctly.

I pushed the door of the main hall and as soon as I caught a glimpse of what was behind it, my legs automatically felt like jelly and I fell to my knees.

Belle.

After a moment of gaining back control of myself I pushed the door open and walked through, it's too late to turn back now.

I finally feel like I've over come my fear of seeing too much blood.

5 bodies lay on top of each other like a pyramid, the 5 were working.

Their uniforms were crumpled and creased, many had rips from the claws but they must have fought with her.

Their eyes remain open and I can see the terror in their facial expressions, they look very pale and cold.

Many of the bodies were not only pale but they were covered in purple, blue and green bruises, they covered their faces and arms and also the piece of neck that was showing, they were the only visible areas that showed some wounds because the rest of the body was covered in clothing, the ripped clothing showed the deep wounds from the wolf's claws.

I could feel a shudder creeping down my spine as I continued to look down on the bodies.

They must have been in the department since 8am but how long have they been like this.....

I push the thought out of my mind as I realise the piece of paper in front of the body pyramid, Stilinski, was scribbled neatly on the front of the paper.

It was folded in half and the writing was from an ink pen, it must have been an office pen because it looks very familiar.

Maybe she didn't plan on writing a note but she knew I would come to the department eventually.

I stared down at the piece of paper as I began to read the small note,

"Greater things are coming, worse than you can imagine, this is not a threat but a warning.

Belle."

Not a threat but a warning, why would she want to warn us?

I looked back up at the bodies one last time and the reoccurring question pops into my mind, what have they done to Belle to make her feel so much rage against them?

This is the second attack this month, from Belle, but I have no idea how I can cover up for these sort of behaviours.

She is making it impossible for me to do my job and protect the people from the truth when the truth can clearly be seen.

When people see these bodies they will automatically expect raged wolves from the forests but the wolves are moving onto the land and taking over by killing groups - - and this will either make them fear beacon hills or hunt down the wolves.

I rushed out of the room and slammed the door shut behind me, who was there to take care of the building now?

The majority of them have taken time off because of the last accident and they've been terrified, maybe we should be running from Beacon Hills before it's too late.

I pick up the telephone and dial Lydia's phone number.

On the third ring she answered, "Hello!" She said sounding excited.

"Hey," I reply my voice in a lazy tone.

"What's wrong?"

"What's wrong? I don't know where to start, Lydia I know I shouldn't burden you with this on your last day and you be enjoying it bu-"

Lydia broke him off during his sentence and laughed "Stiles please just tell me, I'm in a hotel alone because Kira and Malia wanted Thai food and they said I should get myself lunch because just because. I guess they really hate my complany. Does it sound like I'm enjoying myself?"

"I - I'm sorry..."

"Don't be but I just can't wait to see you later on."

"Uhm.." after a moment of hesitation Stiles finally spoke, "About that, I can't meet you at the airport and it's why I'm ringing. Today is Sunday so it shouldn't be busy but il end up working the day by myself."

"I thought you made time, wait - why are you working by yourself?"

"Oh my good old friend Belle paid a visit and decided to kill the workers, again. The majority of people off duty today took their day as a holiday and I can't take that away from them but I need the office to be open, I'm going to call in for someone to get the bodies to a morgue but Belle left a message."

"What did it say?"

"She warned us, warned us that greater things are coming and they are worse than we can imagine. I have no idea what this means."

Lydia sighed and then whispered into the phone, "But I do."
