- Monday Morning -
"Good morning," Lydia could hear Stiles whisper into her ear, it sent a shock through her body when she felt him this close, the warmth of his breath against her ear.
She giggled lightly and then rolled over and awkwardly fell out of the bed.
"Crap," She raises her head and puts it against the back of her head, there was no blood but it hurt where it had hit the bedside table.
If she was waiting for Stiles to help her up she would be sitting there forever because he was too busy laughing.
She took her other hand and pushed herself up from the ground using the bedside table to help her up.
"I'm going to go have a shower," she said to Stiles who still lay in bed propped up on one arm, looking towards her.
"Try not to fall," he said with a grin.
It was still early in the morning but she had her first day at work today and Stiles was used to waking up early.
He didn't have work today because he's been told to take the day off work since yesterday another attack occurred and they are afraid it will happen again and maybe again after that.
Stiles knew that it wouldn't though, Belle left another message and she fled town. Her job here was to warn them and even though she had a strange way at it, she warned them and her job is done.
Within twenty minutes Lydia walked out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around her.
"You're going to be late," Stiles said trying to hold in a grin, waiting for a reaction.
"Stiles are you joking?" Her smile dropped off her face and she searched for her phone to check the time.
Stiles took every clock and device that could tell the time and hid them when she was having a shower.
"Lydia its your first day and you're practically late already, its not a great start for you."
Lydia grabbed her clothes and got changed within a minute and then rushed to the bathroom, she was ready for work within ten minutes.
Stiles has never seen her do her makeup in such a short time.
When she rushed out of the bathroom she searched for her phone and Stiles burst out into laughter.
"What?"
"Your phone is under the bed."
"Under the bed?"
"Hmm you heard me right, its with the other clocks."
Lydia looked under the bed and took all of the clocks out.
"You have got to be kidding me." She looked down at her phone once more and then back up at Stiles.
"Is everything all right?"
"I have an entire hour left!"
She sounded furious but Stiles was stilll grinning.
"It's not my fault I wanted you to come back to bed."
Lydia smiles and then crawled back into the bed besides Stiles.
"You could've just asked," she whispered to him as she intertwined her fingers with his.
***
"Can't I at least walk you to work?" Stiles asked Lydia as she was eating breakfast.
"I'm going to get a bus."
Stiles stared at Lydia, he was shocked.
"I feel like this should be the highlight of the year, Lydia Martin wants to take a bus somewhere and on her own and she will do it voluntarily."
Lydia grabbed her bag and then walked towards Stiles and gave him a kiss on the cheek.
"I have to go now but Il text you later."
"Wait a minute."
Stiles put his hands on Lydia's waist and pulled her in closer.
"Don't I get a proper goodbye kiss?"
He leaned in as she did and their lips touched, first softly but then they yearned for more.
"Stiles -" she whispered as she broke away from the kiss before it got too intense, "I have to go."
"Okay." he said breathing heavily.
"To be continued?" She took a step back and he nodded his head.
"I love you." he said as she reached the door.
"I love you too."
She shut the door behind her and began to make her way to the bus stop, her bus would arrive any minute now.
