Chapter 7

Shawn's pov
While I'm in the car i decide to get something for Hope to say sorry. It was not good what I did this morning but I was so excited. At that moment my sister Aaliyah calls me. "OMG SHAWN I HEAR YOUR SONG ON THE RADIO ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME. MY BIG BROTHER IS GOING TO BE THE NEXT WORLD STAR!!!!!!!" she yells. "Aaliyah stay calm my song was already on the radio this morning." I say. I tell her that I'm going to perform on a festival and I can get tickets for my family and a couple of friends. Aaliyah says congrats and asks if she can come over today to meet Hope. I tell her that that's a great idea but that I did something stupid this morning and she's angry at me. Aaliyah says that she doesn't mind and that maybe it's good to have someone around from her own age. I think it's fine and maybe Aaliyah is right.

I come home and realize i didn't buy something for Hope. So stupid. I have tickets for the festival where a lot of famous people are going to be. She'll like that. Everyone from my family is getting one, but Hope wouldn't know. Right? Then I hear the schoolbus. I open the door and Hope is pushing me away. "Hello to you to" I say. She doesn't responds back and walks upstairs. I walk behind her, but she put the lock on her room. I tell her that my sister is coming at 5 so I want her to be downstairs. She doesn't responds. At that moment I'm done with this and start yelling: "HOPE IF YOU'RE NOT DOWN AT 5 YOU WI HAVE A BIG PROBLEM." I feel bad right now, because yeah this is all my fault.

Hope's pov
It's quiet for a while, but then I hear Shawn walking down the stairs. He just yelled at me. He did this to himself. It's not my fault. I don't even want to meet his sister. I get tears in my eyes. I'm starting to hit myself and say to myself: "Hope you're not weak stop crying". I decide to just scroll through instagram. Then I see a picture of Shawn. He's on this picture with a girl round my age. I read the caption: together with my little sister. Holyshit it's his sister. I thought that she would be much older.

5pm
I hear Shawn calling me and just decide to go downstairs. Shawn looks a little angry, because it's already half past 5. I get a little scared when he makes his hand to a fist and points it to me. Luckily the bell is ringing at that moment. Saved by the bell. The door opens and I see Aaliyah standing there. I'm sitting in the kitchen at the bar looking at them. They come to the kitchen so I quickly grab my phone. Aaliyah introduces herself, she's actually very friendly. After a couple of hours Aaliyah is going to her home. The moment she walks out the door I quickly go upstairs again. I hear Shawn yelling "stop" and he comes after me. I turn my door at the lock so that he can't come in. I hear Shawn yelling that I have to open the door, but I'm scared.

Shawn's pov
"GODDAMMIT HOPE THIS IS YOUR LAST CHANCE TO OPEN THE DOOR." I yell. I'm done and decide to kick the door in. Hope looks afraid. I punch her 3 times in the face. "I hope that you'll listen to me the next time." I say and walk out of the door.

3am
I wake up every hour because I feel guilty. Why did I do that to her? This is not me. I want to apologize immediately, but I think that she's gonna be even more mad at me if I wake her up.

7:15am
Hope is still in bed, so I decide to wake her up. I walk into her room but Hope isn't there and her clothes are gone. I see her window open. I run downstairs to the fridge and see that half of the food is gone. Yeah exactly what I thought... HOPE RUN AWAY!!!!!
