Chapter 12

POV Shawn
Only one step left from the orphan house. I'm going to take Hope home. Again. I remember myself the first time I got here to get Hope. She was so quiet on the road to my house. I hope this time would be different. I walk into the orphan house and I see Hope already standing in the hall.

"So you are ready fast." I say.

She winks at me and asks me to leave right away. I wonder if there is something wrong. I sign some papers and after that we're leaving.

Hope's mood randomly changed from sad to happy. She tells me she missed me. I ask her if the wants to hear my new song featuring Camilla. She says she wants to hear it. She is really concentrated listening to my song and she tells me that she really likes it. I don't know if that is, because Camilla is featuring it. When we are arrived at home, I tell Hope I left a present for her in the house. When I am getting the bags, she runs as a crazy one into the house. When I walk in the house she is already cuddling with her new puppy.

"Have you already thought about a name?" I ask.

"I think I am going to name her Lola." Hope says and she thanks me.

My manager calls me. I have to come to work right away.

"Right now?? It's like 11pm." I say, but he already put down the phone.

"Are you going??" Hope asks.

"Actually yes, but I will not leave you alone right now. So I'll stay with you." I say.

"Just go, maybe Camilla wants to see you and I have Lola here with me." She says and she winks at me.

POV Hope
Shawn is walking to the door. I already know Shawn feels something for Camilla. I played the whole night with Lola.

The next morning.

I decide to go for a little walk with Lola. I'm walking to a dog park and put a mat in the grass. I let Lola walk without dog leash and take a book to read. Not much later I see Luna walk by. I call her and she comes to sit next to me. She is really happy that I am back. Lola runs into us and smells Luna. Then she licks her.

We're walking home together after a long talk. I call Shawn and ask him if Luna can sleep over. Shawn says she can. Luna shows me a site named Omegle. There are very cute people on that site, but also very weird pedofiles. Afer a couple hours, Luna's dad comes over to drop her clothes. We walking upstairs to put on our pyjama's. we're walking downstairs and we see that Shawn makes us popcorn and put a mat on the couch. We're laying underneed the mat and we are crushing for a nice movie on Netflix. I see the movie "Spijt" and my eyes starts to cry. I tell Luna that it is the movie my family and I always used to watch back in The Netherlands. Of course Luna does not know the film. She Lived in Canada when they released the film. She asks me to watch the movie, because she thinks it's a sweet movie. I agree. It's nice to hear my own language again. Shawn walks to me to sit next to me. Luna and I start laughing and ask him if he can understand the film. We put it in Dutch without subtitles, because Luna is also from The Netherlands. Shawn starts laughing and says no. we put the subtitles on for him and continue watching the movie.
