Not a Chapter from the contest (yall are givin me later chapter ideas) but a cute adventure with the magic children.

Nerris blinked slowly as the sun shone onto her eyes. How long had they been sleeping? From the sun setting, she was going to say all day. Nerris took a look at her soft brown legs. What was she? She stood up and attempted to step forwards. She ended up tripping over Harrison, waking him up.

"Ugh! Harrison your stupid horse butt made me trip!" Nerris complained, trying to stand again. Harrison glared at her."How is this my fault? You're the one walking around like Bambi!" he snorted trying to stand up. "You're not much better, twig legs!" Nerris retaliated. Harrison was about to make a snappy comeback but stopped when he noticed something. "Nerris, are horses suppose to have horns?" he questioned.

Nerris's face became a confused one, before she quickly stumbled towards the lake, eagerly peering at the reflective surface. Could it really be? It was! She wasn't a horse, she had become a Unicorn! "Praise the Gods of Magic YES! I've finally been transformed into a magical creature!"

Harrison watched as Nerris began stumble-prancing around with a huge smile on her face, and he couldn't help but smile too. He did wonder, however, if he was a Unicorn too? He shakily walked over to the lake, each step becoming a bit more stable. He peered into the reflective watery surface and let out a small gasp when he saw a gold horn coming out of his brown mane.

After the excitement had gone down a bit, they set out on a small forest walk to get the hang of walking.

Soon, they could confidently gallop through the woods, long, flowing tails flying behind them. Under the moonlight they proudly showed off their gleaming horns and confident walk to the campers that had woken up, much to Davids excitement and Max's displeasure.

Meanwhile on the other side of the lake~~~~

A camouflaged Jeep pulled off the road, parking near the entrance to a Forrest. Two men stepped out. "Robert, why are we here?" John, a small, freckled brunette asked his partner, a large, slightly deranged looking black haired man. "Because, John, something has led us here. We are going to find some mythical creatures, i just know it. Now go get the traps and guns, and don't drop them or il use you as bait. Il start the Magic Protection Spell." Robert said, retrieving a purple and gold book and began reading a incantation.

"Yes Robert." John said, proceeding to carefully grab the equipment. He and Robert had what most would call a abusive relationship. Now John would leave if he could, but since his parents had disowned him for being gay, he had to stay with Robert, as he had nowhere else to go. So he put up with the verbal and mental abuse, but he didn't know how much more he could take.

What do yall think of the new antagonist?
