Chapter 18 - Soon
Stan was sprawled on the bed, his arms wide open as he looked at the overhead fan rotating.
He was getting frustrated by the minute.
Finding Kari's friends wasn't that hard at the beginning. He'd seen her clapping happily at one of the fashion shows.
Reading a few newspapers and magazines told him that she had some rich and famous friend.
The brunette whom he'd thought to be his target was being hard and all Stan wanted to do was pound his fists in someone's face.
He'd probably do it once he'd find his wife.
He'd tried following her but ended up getting confused as she swerved right and left on her BMW R1200RT.
That woman was grating on his nerves.
All he knew about her was that she was a chef of a very famous restaurant. When he had tried to get a reservation, the person at the other end had told him that they were full for a month.
Stan couldn't make a reservation for a date after one whole month. He would grab his wife and go back home in a week or two.
Looking at the clock mounted on the wall he thought it best to take a walk around the block.
Who knew that he'd be so lucky to find a way to his wife.
Who knew that he'd stumble across the news flashed on every single magazine of one Dr. David Miles marrying back in his hometown.
