No one's POV
Time has passed and it has already been 20 minutes. The duel was still on, tension and pressure rising in every second.
Crimson looked like she's going to collapse anytime because of her pale face, her cloak with a few tears. While Evergreen is looking confident to win and barely has a scratch. Too confident to be specific.
"Just give up, Crimson. It's quite obvious that you won't win." The Virgo Elite sneered, which caused the latter's right eye to twitch.
"Shut up."Crimson gritted her teeth.
Eve attacked again, controlling her hell stone spear towards her opponent's direction. Her weapon was glowing a sickly green color, which has definitely poison in the sharp tip of it. The Gemini Elite was just on time —and I mean just on time— to evade her fast assail.
Crimson backflipped away from her opposite as she summoned her spell book in thin air.
The Elite mumbles some words under her breath as she placed her right arm forward, her fingers moving in a weird manner, as if calling someone underneath the ground (even though they're already underground 😂).
Then all of a sudden, shadow like tentacles sprouted firm the ground, wriggling in every direction, waiting for the Enchantress' command. She pointed her index finger towards Eve, making the tentacles attack towards her.
Xenon saw the shadow like tentacles and he suddenly remembered that it was the same spell she used on him during their first encounter. He remembered that he cannot slice of the tentacles since their shadows.
In other words, the tentacles can attack, but not the person.
Which is definitely and completely unfair.
The Gemini Elite watched her opponent (and internally smirked) as Evergreen struggled to shake off the shadows.
However, the Virgo Elite still escaped from their grip and held on her spear. Her eyes glowed bright green.
"Do you really think you can beat me?!" She said, her voice lacing with venom.
The weapon she held once was now flying towards Crimson's direction, and it went through her stomach part. The girl widened her eyes, shocked about the impact.
"Stop Evergreen! You are breaking the rules!" Hoodie said loud and clear on the microphone. Everyone also seemed in daze about what just happened.
Oh and yes, she did break one of the rules.
To be able to win, you just have to pin your opponent to the ground and if he/she didn't stand up after 3 counts, then the one with the upper hand will win the duel.
You are allowed to stab the opponent in the arms and legs. However, you should not target the neck, brain, chest/heart, and stomach because if they're disturbed, the person might die in result.
Ticci Toby started running towards the battle ground, bringing a medical kit. He was just about to step on the area when all of a sudden, an unknown force sent him flying backwards to the stairs (A/N: They're like bleachers okay but made of stone😂), same goes for the others who were just sitting on their places.
