Chapter 23: Mystery

Lhuziel's POV

My alarm rang, which caused me to wake up, feeling groggy. I stood up from my bed and did my morning routine. After that, I headed tot he kitchen to make some of my own breakfast.

I made some toasted bread, fried egg, sausage, and a glass of juice. While I was enjoying my yummy food, the smell of burning kidneys and human meat destroyed my appetite. But still, I continued eating since I made this breakfast plus I'm also very hungry.

Since I had nothing to do, I just sat on the couch and placed some headsets in my ears, listening to music.

I sang along with my favorite song, Dollhouse by Melanie Martinez.

I smiled bitterly, remembering my family. This song really reminded me of them.

I thought they loved me dearly.

I thought they were my real family.

I thought... we'll always be together.

But I guess not.

There was once a little girl who loved her family with all her heart. Her name was Luella. They were a happy family, always there for everyone. However, everything just disappeared in a blink of an eye on the day of May 3, 2005...

Luella went home with a smile on her face, since she was an honor student. The girl went to the living room, only to find the most gruesome sight in her whole life.

Her family's chopped body parts were hanged around the room.

She cried on the spot, hugging her brother's head, David. His eyes were gouged out and his tongue was cut. Same goes for tu of the Elites.

"All Elites, please listen up." Slenderman said which caused all of us, including the non-elites to turn their heads to his direction.

"Our training will start today. and fI'm eyes Destination will be at the Demon Acres."

"Wow..."

"Awesome!"

All of a sudden, a portal appears in front of our eyes. "Elites, get inside now." The slender creature instructed us.

We went in, feeling both nervous and scared of what or who we will confront. However, that didn't let our guard down.

We soon encountered 10 Demon hounds, with sharp fangs that will definitely cut us to shreds in seconds.

Eve attacked first with her spear, stabbing it continuously until it died.  I ran next as I summoned my weapon, duel daggers. I ran towards the second hound, then gouged out his eyes. The Demon animal screamed in pain as it dies. Vré and Gin faced the other thr he ee hounds, chopping them in pieces, causing for black blood to splatter everywhere.
