38). PASSION AND DANGER

The corridors of the buildings were smooth and  quite. Everyone were busy in the Talent Show that was taking place  in the Auditorium of the High School.  The whole room was bursting with louds cheers and hooting of everyone who were enjoying the performance. No one was lingering all around except one of them.

   Kate DeMelo was running along the corridors, blindly making her way towards the Girls Commom Room. The building echoed with rapid footsteps. As soon as she was on the exact floor she burst into the room slamming the door shut.

   The common room was quite dead and silent. No one was there. Kate colasped down on a bench gripping the edges very sharply clenching her fist around. Her eyes were wild and scary looking. She was taking deep breaths in an attempt to calm herself, rocking back and forth.

   It was hard for her to believe what she saw. She wanted to scream out that whole thing was wrong. Braddin's performance was meant for her and not for that Tia Quintin. Braddin was her's. They had the beautiful date together. He was only and only her's. How can that Tia come in between ? Who let her came !

   The whole thing from the beginning, was all fake ? Had Braddin been cheating on her ?  After all those time when she thought she finally had what she wanted and was only inches away from the beautiful magical kiss with Braddin, and someone just came in between and stole him from her.

  Anger and rage quickly boiled out and she grabbed a chair and slammed it against the wall single handedly with rapid stream of tears rolling down her eyes. She had never ever been humiliated to this highest degree.

  Meanwhile, like Kate, Tia was also in dreadfull shock. Ash and Skyler who were sitting beside her were gazing at her. Tia was too much in shock that she didn't realized the performance was over the curtains were drew down again. The last thing she saw was Braddin's smiling face as the curtain came close together.

    "You, do you remember me ?" Skyler teased nudging Tia on her arm breaking her from the trance.

    "W-what was this....?" Tia said, struggling with the words.

   "It was for you," Skyler said, shrugging his shoulders.

  Tia gazed at him with a shock expression. Skyler burst into laughter. Ash came from behind and placed her arms around Tia gently.

   "Dont be shock. He's right...it was all for you !" Ash said.

    "But....but...I thought...he I mean..Braddin was with...."

    "With Kate, I know." Ash said calmly keeping a fondly smile on her face.
"We all wanted to trick you. So you could accept the real feeling you already had for Braddin."

    "My feelings ?" Tia asked totally confused.

    "Not to be sure, if this is the right moment to tell you this but I think, we should let the others come." Skyler said.

   "Everyone's here." Tia said, glancing towards the seat beside Skyler but found a happy smiling Ethan waving at her. Roy and James were behind the stage. Braddin there too with them. Tia was so much digged and drowned into the performance that she forgot Rebecca and Ian were missing.

    "Where are the other two ?", Tia asked referring to Ian and Rebecca.

   Ash laughed loudly. Even Skyler also beamed at her.

    "Oh they are behind the stage with Braddin. " Skyler said.

   Tia jaws dropped opened wondering what on earth would they would be doing with Braddin.

    Back at the backstage, Braddin jumped down and approached towards the backroom.

    "How was it ?" He asked, opening his coller releasing the tie around it.
