46). THE HEART OF DARKNESS

   The screams and yells of extreme agony continued to echo through the cabin. The night was cold and very quite. Everyone were having a sound sleep at thier home except for some friends who were facing life twisting challenges and torture.

     Kate and her bodyguards were having very much fun. Kate was not in a mood to sprear them. Not in a mood to let them go or give them some time to rest. The baseball bat swung across the room hitting Rebecca on her arms. She groaned in pain wishing she could pass out so her pains could fade a little. Another bat swung and this time, she choked out a clot of heavy blood from her mouth.

    "Amazing !" Kate said, feeling very glad and happy to see Rebecca like that. She grinned brushing her fingers on her scratched face and got up and headed towards Ian.

    "And how are you doing, Tommy ?" She asked shifting the bat up in  the air and lounching  it towards Ian. It hit her on her shoulder and Ian cried out loudly.

    Kate watched Ian struggled through the binding. She grabbed a handful of Ian's front hair and yanked them up to see Ian's bleeding face. Grinning to see her, she jerked it away and swung her bat again hitting on Ian's chest.

   Ian howled like a wolf to take enough air for breathing. As soon as the bat hit her chest she felt as if her one lung would colasped with the sudden heavy impact. Kate hit Ian again so hard that she fell on the floor along with her chair, shattering some glass pieces on the floor.

    "Kate please stop ! I am begging you." Ash cried, tears falling quickly and thickly from her eyes.
"Have mercy !"

  Kate froze at the word mercy. She turned to face two girls Tia and Ash weeping silently. Ash was in more terrible conditions as she could not bare to see her besties being beaten to death in front of her. Sliced into pieces and torn apart. She wanted to help them. She wanted to run towards them but her own hands and arms were cut and slashed brutally with the small knife. It was so much painfull even if she tried to move her fingers.

  Kate left Ian on the floor and headed towards Ash.

   "Say that again !" She ordered greedily.

  Ash shifted apart to get as much further as she could from the torturor taking deep sharp gulps to keep her steady.

    "H-have m-m-mercy !" She managed to speak.

  Kate smirked to hear the words said by a scared looking and vulnerable Ash. She patted her hand on Ash's wounds making Ash jerk in pain.

    "Finally. Some begging ." Kate said proudly in victory.
"Can't believe you all shattered at once in front of me. I can assume this as my victory."

    Ash blinked and heavy drops of tears slipped down her eyes. Kate grinned then smacked her hand across Ash's face. Rebecca felt a rush of anger pulsed into her but she was in to much pain and too much exhausted, she couldn't move herself. She tried to shift making abother attempt to get free but her ropes were very tight. She was sure they leave marks on her skin.

  Kate crouch towards Tia. Tia turned her face away but Kate grabbed her face and jerked it towards herself.

    "Tia Quintin. What a pity ! I must say you are very lucky to have them." Kate said.
"Look at them. Are you hurt to see them like this ? Are you broken ? Do you feel anything for them ?"

  Tia felt her lips trembled as she looked at her friends one by one. Ash, her hands and arms covered in blood. Rebecca almost knocked out, her face bruised and nose and mouth bleeding. A deep cut visible above her eyebrow. And then Ian laying on the floor breathing heavily with no better condition then Rebecca. Her arms and face bruised, her mouth and nose bleeding.
