"why can't i have 1, just 1, normal day?! My gosh what have i done to deserve this? I mean, i can't even have a day without being molested or being attacked by asassins! I would kill for a day to just go to school, get to class, have a pow-wow with barbie queen and then go home! God." i vented the last out to Melanie. I've been doing so for the last 7 minutes.

"done?" Melanie asks.

"yeah." i reply.

"good because that rant of yours is SO LONG that every person in a 5 mile radius would put on earplugs. Yeesh woman, u got some serious problems." Melanie teases.

"out of my 7 minute rant, u only figured that out?" i ask, dumbfounded.

"yup." she responds. I shake my head at her and laugh.

"alright just go to sleep. It's 11:30 pm." i suggest.

"okay. Goodnight Jade." Melanie calls from the hall.

"g'night Mel." i call. A door softly closes from a distance. I go downstairs to get a drink when someone knocks on the door. I walk over to it and open the door. The person standing there was my abusive boyfriend.

"M-mikey?" i stuttered.

He grabbed my arm and dragged me outside. Once i was on the perfectly trimmed lawn, Mikey slapped me.

"thought that if u moved away u could just leave me behind huh? Well that isn't gonna happen Jade." Mikey sneered. Then he kissed me. I was so in shock that Mikey was here that i didn't kiss him.

"kiss me!" Mikey yelled and slapped me again. Mikey kissed me but i still didn't respond.

"i said kiss me u little @$¡%¿!!!!!" Mikey screams furiously. He slapped me once, and then twice, and then punched me in the gut where George had. My scream was glass shattering. I crumpled to the ground in agony.

"i will return. Till next time." Mikey whispered into my ear before he left. Everyone scrambled out to see Mikey drive away and me on the ground hugging my gut. My friends got to me first.

"who?" Darcy demanded.

Then it dawns on Julia who did it. "Mikey u &$@¡¿%#! Get back here and fight like a man!" Julia screams in the distance.

"M-mikey did this?" Darcy asked me. I nodded my head, unable to say anything because of the pain. My friends start to come up with ways on protecting me and stuff while everyone else was dumbfounded.

"M-mikey.....WAS.......my.........abusive.........boyfriend......" i whispered loud enough so that everyone heard.

"when we first met........he was sweet and caring.........and then we went into a relationship.......but then he came over one day........he was drunk..........." i started blubbering at the flashback. I didn't speak for a few minutes, trying to gain my composure. When i was ready i began again.

"I was 15. My parents were out having dinner with my little sis at a restaurant out of town. So i had the house to myself. I was watching a movie when i heard a knock. I opened it and it was Mikey so i let him in. I hugged him and he carried me upstairs. I tried telling him to put me down but he wouldn't. We reached my bedroom and he walked in and threw me down,"by now i had a poker face on,"and he gagged me. I woke up and found myself naked and tied up. There were bruises all over me and my stuff was strewn around the room. Beer bottles were in the corner of my room. I cried for help so many times but nobody saved me. I kept crying and crying until i heard my parents come home. I yelled for help and they bounded up the stairs and into my room to find me in that state. My mother ran over to me and untied me while i cried into her. I curled up into a ball when my father asked who did it. And i told them it was Mikey. My dad left and my mom stayed with me the whole night, asking what happened. The next day my dad drove all three of us to Mikey's house and my dad sued them for rape. We won and went to the hospital. They did all the blood checking and stuff. Thank god it can out as negative. I was physically fine but mentally and emotionally unstable. I went to a phycologist for i don't know how long until i was stable. By then i was nearing my 16 birthday."

"and u know how they say your sweet 16 is the most memoriable moment of your life. It's totally true. I had a sweet 16 party that my parents spoiled me on. And u know who crashed? Mikey. And when i went to the bathroom, he dragged me outside and into his car. He swerved all over the place u til he came to a deserted parkinglot. He beat me to an inch of my life and said that this was payback for what i did to his family. He left me there to die. I had my phone with me so i dialled 911 and they took me to the hospital. Then Mikey never entered my life again until now." i concluded.

Everyone had icy looks and murderous glints in their eyes. Exspecially Neal. My heart fluttered. Wait, whoa, did my heart just flutter? Okay i think i need my phycologist again! They all moved away from me to discuss something except for Neal. He was next to me and pulling me close to him. Ahhhh. He's all warm and nice smelling.

Neal's P.O.V

i feel so angry. Looking at Jade and seeing her so vulnerable makes me sick. An abusive boyfriend. Ack! I'm gonna kill him if it's the last thing i do! I walk over to Jade and pull her close. I wrap my arms around her in a protective stance.

"hey Jade, why don't u fight back?" i ask quietly.

"i.....dunno. I just can't. He was my sweet and caring boyfriend just transformed by beer." she answers and then sighs. I just nod.

"but he isn't the Mikey i used to know anymore. He wasn't drunk this time, yet he was still abusive. I don't love him anymore. I want him out of my life yet it's impossible. Even if i move to Saturn, he will always find a way to get to me." she whispered and started crying.

"shhhh. It's alright. I'm here and i will protect u from Mikey. Don't worry. Shhhhh. Stop crying, love." i whisper into her ear. Wait, did i just say love to her? It makes me warm inside. Oh no i think i'm starting to fall for her. I think she heard it too because she shut upcand stared at me. Shoot.

Jade's P.O.V

did he just call he love? Oh sweet nugget that sounded so good! Whoa, i'm feeling warm. Jesus Christ! What is this boy doing to me?!

Oh! Jade's got an abusive boyfriend! Feelings are blossoming! Wonder what they're gonna do with Mikey......hmmm.........Secrets are revealed! Jade's no virgin!
