The Movie Date With Friends Part 1

The next few days whizzed by and then it was Saturday. We were going to the movies in the afternoon and we were going to choose what movie to watch at the theatre. It's 7 am and i'm laying in my bed staring at the ceiling. I sighed and then i got an idea. Why don't i run inside our backyard for a while? I smile at my idea and hop out of bed and change into a tank top and denim shorts with frayed ends. I comb my hair out and neatly tie it into a ponytail. I slip on my runners and grab my ipod shuffle and clipped on my shorts. I plug the music in and head to the backyard. Nobody seems to be awake so i tiptoe outside and then start jogging. I jog into the woods and observe. The birds are chirping up in the branches while the bugs on the ground crawl around soundlessly. I remind myself to bring some bread for the birds. I walk through the forest, admiring the plants and wildlife. I see a clearing up ahead and walk toward it. The sight was beautiful. It was a Small circular meadow full of wild flowers. The sun beamed down on it and made the meadow shimmer. I gasped at the beauty of it and walked closer. I crouched down and smelled the sweet aroma of the flowers.

"ahhhh......" i sighed. I closed my eyes and just relaxed.

"so you found out eh?" someone says behind me. I jump up 10 feet in the air. I whip my head around to find Neal behind me. I sighed in relief.

"thank god your not a pedophile.... Don't sneak up on me like that!" i say

"yeah about that..... sorry! I heard you sneaking out so i followed you. Didn't know u would find my secret hideout though....." he siad nervously, scratching the back of his neck.

"that's ok...wait what do u mean 'your' secret hideout?" i ask, confused.

"well no one has found this place except me so.....yeah. It's self-explanatory." he explained.

"oh" was all i could come up with.

"no kidding" he muttered and rolled his eyes playfully.

"hey! Don't give me that look!" i say. I resisted the urge to stomp my foot like a little girl because that would do me no good in my situation.

"alright, alright! So are u excited for our date yet?" he asks and nudges me playfully on the shoulder.

Pffft. Yeah, right. "nope. Not-at-all" i say very clearly.

"ouch. That hurt!" he says and puts his hand to his heart and fake hurts. I laugh at his expression. It's priceless!

"no, seriously. Aren't u excited just a teeny bit?" he says and moves his thumb and index finger about an inch apart.

A voice in the back of my head whispers, yes just a little bit but i say, "A it's not a DAATE and B i'm more excited to see my friends and C it's not a DAATE." he laughed at that and smiled at me.

"yea, sure. Keep telling yourself that!" Neal frowns,"wait, so you're not excited even a little bit?"

"when did u become such a blockhead?! And what's with the cocky attitude mister?" i asked

He rolled his eyes and grumbled,"thanks. That just what i needed to hear, ya know?"

"aww! Don't be like that! Im just messing with u" i say and nudge him.

"so....what movie are we watching?" i ask curiously

"well wouldn't you like to know?" he teases me. I rolled my eyes and humphed.

"fine. Don't tell me." i say stubbornly.

He just chuckles and sits down. I follow his movements, well tried to, but lost my balance at the last second, which is so unlikely yet still happened, and fell. ON TOP OF NEAL!!!!! My fall made Neal fall backward so my legs became tangled with his, my hips and stomach and chest pressed against his. I snapped my head down and Neal put his arm around my waist to try to catch my fall and snapped his head up and my lips touched his. It was just a slight touch but was full of electricity. We were both still for a minute but then he kissed me back! I started kissing him and we were in sync with each other. We broke apart and were panting heavily. I blushed scarlet red and Neal's cheeks blossomed to a baby pink. We just lied there and stared into each other's eyes. It seemed like ages but really only a few minutes before Neal cleared his throat uncomfortably and i snapped out of my funk. I smiled sheepishly and untangled my legs and got off of him. I stood up and helped him up off the ground. He got up and placed some space between us. He rubbed the back of his neck and looked anywhere but my eyes. I felt dissapointment in the bottom of my stomach but pushed it down. He doesn't need to see it. The silence was uncomfortable and stretched on.

"w-well......i, um should get going. S-seeing that your fine and all.....so......SEE YA!" he mumbled and bolted out of the forest. I sighed. Did i kiss that bad? I frowned and lied down and stared up into the sky.

"this changes everything," i say to myself quietly," i really felt the electricity. No other boy has done that to me or the butterflies. It's just like those sappy love movies. A-and.....i think i love him."

this chappie was well overdue. I'm sorry for such the long wait. I know i said that this chappie was suppose to be the date chappie but i just can't make this chappie that. Next chappie will be the movie date thing. Vote, comment, fan plz!
