My New Life and Coping With It

My First Clichè Day In Highschool

i yawn and try to blink away the sleepines, but failing.

"go to sleep Jade. we'll take care of this. i promise" Neal whispers. i nod and half sleep, half walk inside the house and into bed. once my head hits the pillow, i fall asleep.

i was in a dense forest full of vegetation. i was running and running like a mad woman. someone was calling my name behind me. it was just a mere whisper but it sent chills up my spine and made me run wven faster, if it's possible. i see a light up ahead and burst through. i run out of the forest and stop at the edge of the cliff that plummets down and into very tall, very pointy rocks.

"don't run Jade. i have you right were i want you." the person whispers more clearly. i turn around sharply and almost lost my balance. the person's voice sounded like.......

"MIKEY!!!!!" i scream. Mikey emerges from the forest and walks calmly towards me. he walks until he is in front of me and wraps his arm around my waist. i want to push him away but it's like my arms and legs and glued together. the only things that i can move are my eyes and mouth. i blink and stare at him. his hold, his gaze they all seem to realistic. he leans closer and closer. i try to trash away and when he notices he slaps me and i scream!

"Jade! Jade! are you okay? wake up! wake up! help! Tessa! Melanie! Neal! Help! wake up Jade.... it was all just a dream." Darcy yells over my screams. she tried to shake me awake when i started thrashing. i heard the door open and many pairs of feet quickly walk in. i was breathing really hard after i screamed and i stopped thrashing.

"what happened Darcy? and why are you in her bed?" someone, i think Melanie, asked.

"i make rounds here okay. old habits die hard. i was walking and heard thrashing so i walked in and saw Jade thrashing around i nher bed. i didn't know what to do so i tried to shake her awake and then she screamed. i got panicky and called for help. then she stopped thrashing and screaming and started breathing again. then you guys stepped in." Darcy explained.

"wait, she was thrashing around and screaming?" Julia's distinct voice asked.

"uh huh." DArcy replied

"omigod i am going to kill Mikey!!!" Julia threatens.

"this one time i was at her house for a sleepover and we both fell asleep and i woke up all of a sudden and saw JAde thrashing around. she screamed and then sat up and start tell ing me her nightmare. it was about Mikey of course and she said that she had been having those dreams for a while. i told her parents and they took her to a therapist. she was fine after that." Julia said sadly. by now i was wide awake and listening. i sat up and looked around. everyone was in my room. i gulped and told them my nightmare. it wasn't as scary as the other ones i had in the past but stil frightening. i checked the clock and it read 6:00 am.

"am i going to school today?" i ask quietly

"if you want" Tessa replies

"i want to go to school. but can one of my friends be with me at all times?" i ask

"sweetie, your Julia have all the same classes as you. i made sure of that" Tessa says and sits on my bed and hugs me. i hug her back and let go. i shoo the out and get ready. i go to my bathroom and take a long, relaxing shower. i step out and dry myself. i step out and walk to my closet. i step in and place on my underclothes. then i grab a pair of black skinny jeans. i place them on and then grab a red fitted plaid shirt and placed that on. then i place on my knee high boots and drape my infinity scarf over me and do my hair. i curl the ends of my hair and look at my face. there were bags under my eyes that i covered up and applied a little mascara, and lip gloss on. i step out and grab my school bag. i walk into the kitchen and have a bowl of cereal. i check the time. 7:45 am. where does the time fly? i placed my bowl and spoon in the dish washer and step out and see Melanie, Quiin, and Julia making cereal. Melanie wore a powder blue spaghetti tank top with a denim skirt and converse. Quiin wore a white sun dress with black polka dots with wedges. Julia wore a pair of shorts with a striped t-shirt and a hot pink scarf. she paired it with green wedges, thick brown belt, and a hat. they finish their breakfast and we head out. outside, a black, BMW M6 outside waiting for us.
