Jack looked very surprised, but his eyes were gleaming with delight, he took me by the waste and squeezed me tight, but I squeezed him back, it turned out to be quite a long hug. When he finally let go I said " So, when shall we go, I mean, well, mother will be here soon, so you know" " Well, we could go now" he said hopefully, " Umm, ok, yeah, lets go now" I said, too excited to even think about anything else.
I ran to my room to get Pasqual, but he was still fast asleep so I gently nudged his lime green skin, he opened his eyes and rolled over, so I picked him up, he wriggled and squirmed but he couldn't get out of my hands " Pasqual, come on, we're going with Jack, we're gonna get out of here" I said with delight. Suddenly Pasqual jumped up onto my shoulder and smiled with glee, " come on Pasqual" I said as I walked towards the window were Jack sat. Jack turned around and smiled as his pure white hair flopped over one eye, " Are you ready?" he said, "Well, I'm ready as I'll ever be". Jack began to walk towards the window, my stomach was twisting and turning with excitement. He jumped up onto the ledge and turned around,"um Punzie, how are we going to manage with your hair" he asked slightly puzzled, "oh yeah, good point, yes this is the moment I've been waiting for, I can finally cut my hair" I said, I ran and grabbed a pair of scissors, " But Punzie, your hair will turn brown" said Jack, " I know, I've always wanted brown hair", and without even a second thought, I cut my hair so it was just past my waist, but it didn't turn brown. Jack looked at my hair and said "uh, Punze, why isn't it turning brown?", "I don't know, Mother always said that if I cut it then it would.........oh well, now let's get going before mother gets back" I said running to the window with delight, Jack put me on his back and climbed onto the windowsill, " Are you ready Pasqual" I said with a slightly nervous voice, he nodded, "Are you ready Punze" Jack said with excitement, " Yep" I said just as Jack jumped out the window.
