Miraculous Chat Noir~

OK so change of plans: Chat's POV will be first since Marinette/Ladybug is unconscious. The POVs will switch back and forth. Sorry, the update took so long. Enjoy^^

*Chat's POV*

Why does this have to happen now? If I had more time to think this through, I'd have a better plan than this one. I ran around the corner and leaned against a wall that happened to be plastered with the portrait 'Marriage at Can a Veronese'.

Before I had to run for my life--and to come up with a plan--I figured out this royal pain of an Akuma was actually card themed. Yes, as in playing cards. Anything that attacked him that was less damage than the attack he planned to use next wouldn't affect him. Anything equal to that damage or greater would be able to take him down. That's probably why he threw a cat at me. But what could beat a King? An Ace! But Aces can only be cards. How is this going to work?

*Marinette/Ladybug's POV*

As the Akuma approached me I tried to attack but he caught it? The "king" placed a playing card on my foot and BAM! Everything went black.

The ground feels cold. I could tell something had happened to my transformation, my skin could feel the chilling tile of the floor. I tried to get up, even open my eyes in the least, but I was unable to. What happened? I heard the villain talking to Hawkmoth. I could hear and feel, but I couldn't move or talk.

It's been an hour since I transformed. Where's Chat? As I thought this, I heard footsteps, and they weren't caused by King Kardz--the Akuma's apparent name. Wait. If it is Chat he'll see my identity! I panicked, but there was nothing I could do.

I heard no conversing but knew my partner had arrived. King Kardz threw something at him which exploded. I was worried something had happened to Chat but I still heard his footsteps throughout the room. After a little while into the fight, I heard Chat run out of the room followed by the akumatized villain.

A few minutes later, my eyes fluttered open. I can move again! I attempted to grasp my surroundings, but while looking around, I saw my earrings were just sitting there on the floor. Looks like the king's plans aren't as thought out as we believed. I put my earrings back on and Tikki hugged my cheek as soon as she was released from the miraculous. I transformed and went on my way to find Chat.

*Chat's POV*

I was deep in thought still trying to think my plan through when I heard footsteps racing towards my direction. I readied myself for what was going to come next but was surprised to see Ladybug as she crashed right into me. Fortunately, we fell in more of a silent drop than a loud one, so we weren't heard by the Akuma, who was probably still searching for me. 

Ladybug and I exchanged expressions. From her knowledge, we hadn't seen each other since "Beetle Man". We discussed my plan and she, for once, thought it was a good idea. She used Lucky Charm, and we successfully obtained a magical Ace card.

*Ladybug's POV*

Once I found Chat--no I'm not going into detail as to how--he told me his plan. I expected it to be idiotic and fatal, but it turned out to be really well thought out--unlike King Kardz's. I used Lucky Charm, obtained an Ace card, and once we found the akumatized civilian, I used the Ace card and defeated him.

After deevilizing the Akuma, Chat and I went into the next room of the famous museum.

"Chat? Are you okay?"
