*Marinette's POV*
I couldn't have been more dumb-founded in my entire life until now. I, Marinette Dupain-Cheng was staring into the bright green eyes of the one and only, Adrien Agreste. I knew from common sense that I'd be blushing, but surprisingly, so was the boy in front of me. We stood there and stared at each other for what seemed like forever until Adrien pointed to the bakery and next thing I know the boy of my dreams and I are sitting on my bed eating freshly baked pastries that were brought to us by my nosy parents.
"I need to tell you something.", Adrien burst my bubble of thoughts and I looked his way, giving him my undivided attention.
As our eyes met, the only expression I could read off his face was nervousness. As the first time I've ever encountered Adrien in this state, it was just as nerve racking for me to just watch him in this condition. I was terrified of what would come next. I couldn't even imagine how horrible or amazing his news would be. What could he have to tell me that would make him this nervous?
"Adrien, are you okay?", I ask worriedly about the love of my life, who seems to have gone pale at the sound of me speaking.
"Fine, I'm totally fine."
"Okay, what were you going to tell me then?"
"Oh, I...um...Marinette I have a secret that you have to know.", he stuttered while saying this, but I understood him perfectly since stuttering is practically my second language. Adrien mumbled something right before a huge explosion came from the park across the street.
"Uh, Adrien I'll be right back..."
He stared blankly at me, and soon after he only nodded. I sneaked past my parents and out the bakery door. I turned a corner and transformed quickly.
I'm sorry Adrien.
