ELEVEN; TRUST ISSUES

"Paws off!" Eden slapped Embry's hand away from the muffins in the center of the table. "Ladies first. Hasn't anyone ever taught you manners?" She asked, putting her hands on her hips.

Embry almost laughed at how serious the child was being. "My apologies, princess Eden."

The blonde toddler grinned. "Apology accepted."

"That's the fifth muffin she's ate since she got here."

"She is her mother's daughter."

"Hey," Cassadee started, defending her daughter. "She's growing at an abnormally fast rate, leave her alone."

"What's your excuse?" Jared laughed at Cassadee.

"I don't have one, I just like food."

"My kind of woman." Paul winked at the Equalizer.

"If I wasn't married and you didn't imprint then I totally would."

"Did you forget that your husband is present?" Jasper questioned his wife.

"Jasper, you know you're the only one for me." Cassadee assured the blond before pecking him on the lips.

"It's nice to hear every once in a while." He replied, kissing her forehead.

"So, are you going to make peace with Jake or what?" Cassadee questioned Sam.

"I have nothing to make peace about."

"Well, we certainly weren't the ones to start the fight." Jasper told the werewolf.

"We were just following through with the treaty." Sam glared at Jasper. "That baby killed Bella."
"That baby is my niece and her name is Renesmee." The brunette snapped. "Do you really think we would've let you get to her?"

"No, not really." Sam confessed, "but it was worth a shot."

"Do you hear yourself?" Emily asked her fiancé. "You were going to kill a baby!"

"A dangerous one!" Sam defended himself.

"She's a baby." Emily deadpanned. "She is just a harmless as Eden."

"Probably even less considering the fact that she can't even walk yet."

"I want another one!" Eden whined, stomping her feet after seeing that the muffins were now gone.

"You know it's time to go when the kid starts throwing a fit." Jared said, looking to Eden's parents. "And ate half the muffins."

"Oh, relax." Emily told the werewolf. "There's always more muffins on the way."

"Eden, say goodbye to your uncles and aunt, it's time to go home." Jasper told his daughter.

The toddler went around the table and hugged each werewolf before practically leaping into Emily's arms. She wrapped her arms around her neck before being passed to Sam, who was easily her favorite werewolf. "Can I come over tomorrow?"

"You're always welcome here, Eden." Sam promised before hugging her and passing her on to Jasper.

"It looks like I'll see you guys tomorrow." Cassadee said before waving at the pack and following her husband outside.
