Pulling away, my cheeks remain flush red. Both of us seem to be in a daze, still looking into one another's eyes.

Eddie lifts his inhaler and takes a puff.

"Would you two snap out of it already?" Richie grins, standing behind us along with the rest of the losers. Eddie and I hurriedly stand up, blushing.

"I'm sorry about earlier Richie." I quickly apologize, Richie smiles in return.

"It's okay, doll. At least I know I got to taste you before Eddie spaghetti did." He jokes, earning a punch on the arm from Eddie.

"Don't call me that, and don't say that." He grumbles. The rest of the losers laugh lightly.

"So are guys dating now?" Mike questions.

"Oh, I don't kno–"

"Yup. Definitely." I grin, interrupting Eddie.

"Well then I guess we know who wears the pants." Stan laughs, the others join. I shrug. What can I say, I'm pretty bossy.

Bill switches the topic, back to our current predicament.

"We're g-gonna go back to B-Ben's to r-research m-more."

I nod, and Bill leads the way to Ben's. This time, I pull Eddie back, and when I inlace our fingers, he doesn't pull away.

"How does a loser like him get a girl like that? Oh, he is SO dead."

I hear the infamous voice of Henry Bowers mutter, as we pass the park. Eddie wheezes a little, squeezing my hand. Henry doesn't approach, instead he sends deadly glares in Eddie's direction.

If he wasn't already nervous, he definitely was now. His pace speeds up, catching up to the other losers and leaving Henry's view.

"You're gonna get me killed, ya know." He states.

"Why do you say that?"

"Because my bully is clearly in love with you, and you're clearly my girlfriend. Which makes me your boyfriend. And there's no way in hell I'm backing down from that title. Not even if it means taking a beating from Henry Bowers."

Grinning, I lean over and kiss his cheek. He was being extremely confident for once.

His watch beeps. He stops walking, and lets go of my hand to take a few pills. After doing so, he re-laces our fingers and continues. I giggle a bit, causing him to turn to me.

"What?"

"Nothing...I just really like you."

Blush. Wheeze. Inhaler.

"S-stop doing that to me. My mom has had to call to have my inhaler refilled like twice already. She's starting get suspicious—"

I cut him off with my lips to his, pulling back before he can return the kiss

Blush. Wheeze. Inhaler.

"You must really hate my mom."

I giggle.

"No, I just really like you."
