3. A Dance to Remember

It was after the dance party and Ash was looking for a private place. He really cared for Serena and noticed how disappointed she was when she couldn't dance with him. He wanted to make it up to her so he got help from Aria to look for a place. After searching through many places, Ash found the perfect one to set up in.

"Perfect, Serena will love it" Ash exclaimed.

"You're right, I'll get my decorating committee to help you set up" Aria replied.

"Thanks Aria" Ash thanked.

Aria called up her decorating committee and the crew started decorating the place. Ash used this time to message Serena to come over in her formal dress. He was already dressed up in his formal wear and all that was left was the music. Pikachu left him alone so he could be with Serena just by himself. As the decorations were close to finishing, Aria got a message from Clemont telling her that Serena's coming.

With Serena

Serena was walking to the location in her formal dress that she wore during Monsieur Pierre's dance party. She was really confused as to why Ash would message her to come in something formal. Upon arriving at the location, she walked in to find a room decorated with streamers, lights and flowers. She turned to see Ash walking towards her in his formal clothing all happy.

"Ash, what is this?" Serena asked.

"I noticed you looked disappointed after the party" Ash explained, "So I thought we could have a dance, just the two of us"

"Really, you did this for me?" Serena exclaimed.

"Of course I did" Ash said grabbing her hand.

The speakers started playing a slow dance song and Ash grabbed Serena's right hand and placed his right hand on her hip. Serena grabbed his left hand and placed her left hand on his shoulder. The two started dancing and this was a magical feeling for Serena, she always wanted to dance with Ash and her wish finally came true. Ash was happy to be with Serena as he wanted to make her happy as much as he can. As they were dancing, Serena decided to ask Ash why he decided on doing this.

"Ash, can I ask you something?" Serena started.

"Yes" Ash replied.

"I was wondering, why did you go through all the trouble to do this for me?" Serena asked.

"Well, ever since the dance party, you've been disappointed about not dancing with me" Ash started, "I felt the same way so I wanted to do this especially for you" Ash explained, "I actually kind of have feelings for you"

"Really?" Serena exclaimed with a shocked look.

"Yeah, ever since I've been on this journey with you, I've grown to like you more than a friend" Ash told her.

"Do you mean" Serena trailed off.

"Of course, I want you to be my girlfriend" Ash finished for her.

Serena couldn't believe it, her childhood crush actually had feelings for her and confessed to her while dancing. She couldn't keep it in, Serena pulled Ash into a passionate kiss that felt like hours only in reality, lasting for a few minutes. After breaking the kiss, the new couple went back to dancing together, being more happy than they could ever be.

Later that night

Ash and Serena have finished their dance together and became an actual couple during that. The two lovebirds were walking back to the Pokémon Centre and when they went to the rooms, Bonnie started snickering. It seems as though she planned to have the rooms they rented have only a single bed for Ash and Serena. She and Clemont got a room with two beds and the couple couldn't take the other room. Ash didn't mind too much but Serena was kind of nervous.

"Are you sure about this Ash?" Serena asked.

"Of course Serena, we are a new couple so we have to experience this at some point" Ash answered.

The two got into bed with Ash wrapping his right arm around Serena while she placed her head on his chest. The two got very comfortable and was close to dozing off.

"Ash" Serena started.

"Yes Serena" Ash replied.

"Thank you, for the dance" Serena thanked.

"Anything for my new girlfriend" Ash exclaimed.

The new couple then went to sleep, happy about the things that happened today.
