(The soul mate mark the boys all have is Ashton's tattoo)

I woke up to the sound of my mum yelling from downstairs, saying I was going to be late for school. Today was my first day at a new school and I honestly was not looking forward to it. I  slowly got out of bed and walked over to my closet, grabbing a pair of black skinny jeans and my favorite Nirvana shirt. I put them on quickly as well as some bracelets to cover my soul mate mark. I liked to hide it seeing as people like to bully me about it. On my wrist was a small black tally mark, people liked to assume I had five other soul mates and called me things like player or slut. I push those thoughts away. This school was my fresh start and my plan was not to draw attention to myself. I shrugged my thoughts away as I grabbed my bag then went down stairs where I was engulfed in a hug from my mum.

"Good morning to you too mum." I laughed a little, feeling nervous.

"I'm sorry it's just my baby boy is starting at a big new school by himself. You're gonna make some friends!"  She smiled.

I was kind of surprised by this comment. I hadn't had friends since I came out to my close friend Alex at my old school and he turned his back on me along with the rest of the school. I was snapped out of my mini thought session by my mum ushering me over to the kitchen, insisting I ate the bacon she had made.

"I'm not really hungry and i'm gonna be late for school sooo.."

I quickly grabbed a piece of toast and kissed her on the cheek then headed out the door before she could argue.

School was only about a ten minute walk away so I got there a little early to get my schedule. as I walked through the door immediately I got looks from students, I was the new kid after all.. never the less I curled in on myself a little insecurely. After about five minute of walking around I found the office. I walked up to a pretty old grumpy looking lady behind a desk, she was looking at her computer screen so I just kinda stood there awkwardly not wanting to interrupt her. She noticed me out of the corner of her eye and looked me up and down.

"Can i help you?" she asked as if she was annoyed by my mere existence.

"H-hi i'm Luke and i'm n-new." I mumbled out, silently cursing myself for stuttering.

She scoffed and looked back to her computer screen.

"Well Luke, If you expect me to give you a schedule you should probably give me you surname." she said.

Again, internally cursing myself, I gave her my last name.

"Upped a grade huh?"  she said while reading off her screen.

Apparently i'm smart for my age so I got to skip a grade. I managed to get A's and B's in all my grades anyway but kids in my classes either pick on me about being a 'teachers pet' or try to sit next to me during a test.

She gave me a piece of paper and I walked out feeling dumb and slightly hated by the office lady of all people. I'd been here ten minutes and already made a fool of myself.

I had history first period and found myself walking up to the classroom door 15 minutes after class started. I got lost... also I had been standing here for a moment waiting for my heart to slow the heck down from nervousness. I gathered up what little courage I had and opened to door, walking in. the class all turned to me and I felt a little uneasy from the attention.

What caught my eye were the two incredibly attractive boys sitting in the back corner staring right back at me. There desks were pushed together and they were only a rulers length apart so I could tell from that they were probably friends or something. I didn't understand how though, they looked like they were from two different sections of the high school food chain. The boy on the left was very tan, wore a white muscle tee and black bini.  The boy to the right was extremely pale with contrasting bright red hair. He had an eyebrow piercing and wore a slipknot band shirt. They were polar opposites, they were fucking hot and they were staring at me very intensely.

"You must be Luke." The teacher said.

I tore my eyes away from the two boys at the back blushing a little and nodded at the teacher.

"Please take a seat next to Michael. Clifford raise your hand."

The boy with red hair raised his hand. My heart was on fire. I walked over to the desk and sat down willing myself not to turn and stare at him. I grabbed My notebook and started doodling random things blocking out the teacher who had resumed his boring lecture. I couldn't keep the boys to my right off my mind and I was constantly fighting the urge to stare at them.

I continued to draw random things on my paper before I couldn't resist anymore and glanced over to where Michael was sitting. His seat had moves back over so it was an even distance between the other boy and myself. They were both staring at me with a curious look on their faces. I felt like they were trying to read my mind or something. My hand awkwardly went to fiddle with my bracelets while staring back at them. My wrist felt all tingly and my mind was running clockwork. The tan boy seemed to notice my action and went to say something before the bell went signalling next period.
It was going to be a long day
