(Ashton is in the grade up from Michael, Calum and Luke)

So it turns out I have most of my classes with Michael and the other boy i discovered to be named Calum. I haven't spoken to them since that first history class stare down but I cant help looking at them all the time. I constantly want to be near them and sometimes I feel like when i'm not looking they are.

I was in my music class , which is probably my favorite class. I am really passionate about music and it helps me a lot. I've posted a couple covers on you tube but they don't have many views.

I was just writing down some random lyrics waiting for the lesson to start. The music teacher Mrs Kerris was late again and all the students were talking to each other.

"Look at those losers over there. are they gay? They're always so close together, they must be dating or something." A dumb looking blonde girl spoke in front of me.

"I don't know babe. probably,  I mean look at them." a guy I know as Adam replied. I only new his name by how often the teachers tell him off for talking in class. the dude never shuts up.

I frowned a little and started fiddling with my bracelets, it was a habit of mine. I didn't understand why every one was homophobic. I couldn't help it if I think girls aren't attractive. The girl Adam was talking to is a prime example why. She was twirling her hair through her fingers while looking at him like he was the most interesting thing in the world. Her boobs were on display with a very small shirt on, her voice was obnoxiously high and her makeup was done terribly.  I couldn't understand how anyone found her attractive. She was trying to get him to like her obviously people without soulmates were always chewing through relationships. Only about half the population had soul mate marks. The other half wished they did too. Not having a soulmate mark meant they had no idea who there soulmate was or if they even had one. That would be pretty shit.

I turned my attention to where they were looking while talking and saw they were talking about Michael and Calum. I frowned even more at that. Calum was playing with Micheal's red hair, they weren't major PDA like i'd seen some couples in the hallways like. I wonder if they are dating, it's not any of my business though.

My thoughts were interrupted by Ms Kerris walking in to the classroom.
"OK listen up! Because this class only has 20 people and there's about half that in the senior class, we will be merging the two classes together for the rest of the year." Ms Kerris announced.

Whispering started immediately but stopped just as quick when who I assumed to be the senior class walked in and started taking there seats.

"Okay, now that everyone is settled i will be telling you your new group assignment. And don't bother making plans with your friends while i explain because i will be organizing the groups." Every one groaned at that.

The project that we were assigned was do write and perform a song. We had the rest of the semester to create it. She began calling out names but I wasn't really listening. I was too distracted by the fact that I would have to talk to other people and see them out of school and perform with them. I was internally pleading not to be put with people that were gonna be rude or slackers, or assholes in general.

My attention was caught again when my name was called out.

"Luke, Ashton, Michael and Calum. You're the next group. find somewhere to sit and get started." Ms Kerris spoke.
I felt my heart speed up. I had to talk to them.

I stood up, grabbing my bag and started walking over to Michael and Calum. they were already talking with someone who I assumed to be Ashton. I sat down in the chair next to him.
"Hey i'm Ash. I just got moved into this class." He introduced.
