Luke had gone home later that day at the request of him mum. She had called him and sounded rather upset at him for some reason. He went home but when he got their mum was in the shower so he just went up to his room and did some homework, knowing she would call him down when she was ready.

"Luke could you come downstairs please!"

Luke closed the history textbook he had been attempting to read (and failing miserably, it was boring) and went downstairs to see what his mum wanted to talk about. He wondered if he was in trouble for something. His mum was sitting on the couch in the lounge room, when she saw him walk in she pointed to the single seater couch opposite her. Luke sat there.

"Luke I think it's time we had a conversation." She announced.

"Okay?"

"I've noticed you've been out a lot on weekends and after school recently. You haven't spoken to me at all. What have you been doing? And you never came to me after you had a panic attack that day. What is going on with you?" She asked.

Luke had been so preoccupied with the discovery of his soulmates that he had been neglecting his mum.

"I've been with Ashton, Michael and Calum a lot. I met them when I moved schools." Luke explained.

"So you've made some friends?"

"I guess so..." Luke spoke. Now was probably the best time to tell his mum he had met his soul mates.

"Mum?"

"Yes, sweetie?"

"I met my soulmates."

"YOU WHAT!" she exclaimed.

Luke flinched a little at her sudden loudness.

"Honey that's amazing! Wait, soulmates? As in plural? Luke, I'm so happy for you. How come I haven't met them? What are their names? Are they boys?" She started pestering him with questions.

Luke was a little overwhelmed by all the questions she was shooting at him but attempted to answer all of them. He was so relieved that she wasn't mad at him. Luke explained everything to her, their names, age, how they met and why he hadn't spoken to her about it yet. Needless to say, she was ecstatic.

"You have to invite them to dinner one day so I can meet them okay?"

"I will mum don't worry."

Luke had just gone back to his room after his conversation with his mum. They ended up watching T.V together and ordering pizza. It was good to spend time with her again. I had gotten late now and Luke was really tired. He stripped off his jeans and shirt and got into bed in just his underwear. He liked sleeping with minimal clothing on. Plugging his phone into its charger and placing it on his nightstand he closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep.

The next morning Luke woke up to his phone buzzing against his nightstand repetitively it was too annoying to ignore so he unlocked it and read the messages he had been receiving from his group chat with the boys.

Mikey: Morning fuckas

Ash: Don't swear

Cal: what up

Mikey: Ash have you left yet?

Ash: well if I had I wouldn't be texting because I would be driving.

Cal: lmao true

Mikey: oh yeah

Ash: I'm about to leave though.
