"I thought Ares was a War God, not... um, a Sass God."
Harry shrugged. "Well, you're about to find out aren't you," he tapped the railing, eyes glued to the view outside.
Following his gaze, Giselle took in the view herself.
And what a view it was.
The ship gently floated down passing through the clouds which were Blood Red, not fluffy white. As it lowered beneath the clouds, the ground came into view. The Russian landscape was rocky and barren. From where she watched, the terrain was complete red rock: just like Mars.
As the descended, she realised with shock that the ground was not red...
It was covered in Blood.
The ship lowered further as the entire sight became visible. Dead bodies came into sight. Cries of pain and death pierced through the air. War cheersand yells erupted from somewhere on the left. A gun shot sounded, echoing loudly as it found its target. Cannons were being fired constantly, shaking the ground. The entire scene was extremely gruesome.
With horror, Giselle realised that they had landed in the middle of a battlefield.
With an ongoing war.
Niall docked the ship a safe distance from the battle, keeping in mind the safety of the ship. He then walked out of the little cabin.
"Louis' got a big one going, isn't he," he muttered, grimness clear in his features.
Harry walked up behind Giselle. "I doubt if we'll even find him in this huge mess," he shook his head. "Got any ideas?"
Giselle looked at Niall, hoping for a faithful response. After a few moments of silence, she felt a tap on her shoulder. Turning around she saw Harry looking at her. "Have any?"
"You're asking me?" Giselle's eyes widened.
Harry nodded as if it were obvious.
"IDK who Louis even is in person! How am I supposed to come up with an idea?"
"IDK?"
"I Don't Know --- Holy Hades you Gods really need to update yourselves from a thousand years ago."
Niall piped in. "C'mon, let's at least start looking for him. You'll know him when you see him."
They started to disembark. Niall hopped off first, followed by Harry. He offered his hand kindly to Giselle. She almost took it when her gaze fell on the ground.
It was seeped in blood.
"Holy!" She yelped. "No way, I'm not standing on the ground."
Harry frowned. "Why not?"
"I'm not having my feet stained with someone else's blood," she crossed her arms over her chest and raised her nose stubbornly.
"Wha... alright, Miss Delicate Darling! Geez," he then reached up, grabbed Giselle's arms and yanked her off the ship and caught her legs. He took two steps back and adjusted her such that he was carrying her bridal style.
"Harry!"
"Yes?" He asked innocently.
"What's this now?"
"Well, you wouldn't come down so we just had to do this my way."
"And this is your way. Ugh," Giselle rolled her eyes and dropped her head backwards, nearly falling out of Harry's grip.
