CHAPTER 5 (PART 3)
“Well, this is a real party.”
Louis and Niall had led them to a huge open arena, crowded to the brim (Seriously, it looked like a bowl full to the brim). People were dancing to the loud, thumping noise. The place was brightly lit up with sunlight and red laser lights. In the centre there was a bright metal stage set up where two people were dancing around and seemingly performing. One had a neatly trimmed stubble, chocolate boy sweet looks, and a neat haircut. He was sporting a shimmering silver jacket, a black shirt under it, and loose black trousers. He had matching silver shiny dazzling shoes as well. He was expertly dancing while playing a small keyboard which was hung around his neck. The other one was the one that really caught Giselle’s eye.
The neatly matted hair combed to one side; the thick expressive eyebrows;, the soft, alluring, hypnotising eyes; the birthmark on his neck; the innumerable tattoos; the strong, well-built biceps; the toned, muscular body; the famous chain around his neck which had earned itself a name after him – they were all too familiar to her. He was sporting a pure spotless white shirt with matching blinding shoes. He had a stylish, expensive black hoodie and loose black ripped jeans to complement his white attire. Giselle knew this man. She had met him once before, after a concert. She had always likened him to a god… but she’d never known he was a real god.
“OMG IT’S THE LIAM PAAAYYYYNNNEEEEE!” she screamed in excitement and covered her mouth in pure shock.
All three Gods stared at her in astonishment. “You know Payno?” Louis asked.
Giselle nodded excitedly. “He is only the most famous singer in the world! I absolutely love him I went to his concert in April and he looked at me and sang to me he sang Little Things to me literally I was so shook and that day was my birthday too and he wished me on stage and sang for me and he got the whole crowd to sing for me while he beat boxed it was the best day of my life and then I met him backstage later and he remembered me and wished me again and I got it all on video and we took many pictures and he said he thought I was a nice person and he FOLLOWED ME ON TWITTER!” she rambled out.
Niall had leant far back from her by the time she was done. Louis’ eyebrows were raised so high that they were nearly hidden in his hair. Harry stared at her with wide eyes. “Wow. Your birthday is in April?” he asked her.
“15th April.”
“Happy belated birthday Giselle,” he said, smiling slightly before turning back to the stage. That was when Giselle remembered what had happened earlier… Harry must be really upset. She swallowed a bit before looking back at Liam.
“Since you haven’t met him officially, know that he is Apollo, God of Music, Medicine, Handsomeness –”
“Ohhhhh he’s handsome,” Giselle agreed.
She began swaying as Liam launched into the chorus of Get Low. “Hands on your waist let’s go!” she sang.
Soon she made her way down to the dancing group, careful not to mix with them for she would lose the gods in the massive crowd. As the song got over, Liam thanked everyone (what a generous kind person!) and then gestured to his partner. “I’d like to thank my Ar- I mean, my friend, Zedd! A thunderous round of applause for him please!” The crowd went crazy.
“He got Zedd with him now did he,” Louis muttered as he joined Giselle. On receiving a dumb look from her, he explained, “That’s Archangel Zedd. He’s the chief one, like how you have Michael in Christianity.” Giselle watched as Zedd took a bow, waved and made his way off the stage. He then made sure no one was watching, before he disappeared with a shimmering silver light, much like his jacket. Giselle wasn’t surprised, though. Surprises seemed to have become normal for her now.
“ – you are definitely the loudest crowd!” Liam was saying. The crowd cheered once more. “As a treat to you, my awesome fans, next I'm going to perform my latest hit – Bedroom Floor!”
The whole crowd screamed. Some chanted Bedroom Floor! Bedroom Floor! While other chanted Liaaaaaam, Liam! Giselle was having a very hard time keeping herself together. Liam Payne was going to perform Bedroom Floor LIVE before her!
“This song is AMAZING!” Giselle grabbed Niall’s arm and shook it hard.
Niall snatched his arm away. “Yeah? Well, have you heard my – ”
“Not now, Niall,” Louis interrupted.
“Which song is this? I've neither heard it nor heard of it,” Harry asked.
“Bedroom Floor! His latest single? It goes like this…” she sang the whole first verse of Bedroom Floor and was about to start the chorus when she saw all three Greek Immortals staring at her with their eyes nearly popping out of their sockets.
“You said it… what’s wrong?” she stopped.
“You’re voice… it’s beautiful!” Niall admitted.
“Lads, I think I just figured out how to get Apollo off the stage,” Louis said.
“I see where you’re going…” Harry nodded.
“I don’t! What is this genius idea you have?” Giselle asked.
Louis smirked. He rubbed his hands together before starting, “Love, one thing you need to know about Payno is that he just hates attention being taken from him. He goes rogue if even one person’s attention is diverted from him.”
“And since he’s performing his new song, he’ll get even more upset if someone steals the attention from him.” Niall added.
“And with that angelic voice of yours, you’re sure to capture everyone’s attention.” Harry finished.
“I don’t like where this is heading…” Giselle muttered.
“You understand right, Giselle,” Niall confirmed. “We want you to go up on that stage and sing with Liam, steal the attention… at least some. If you do, Liam’s sure to get irritated.”
“But how does that make him come down?” Giselle asked.
“Leave that to us.” Louis said, the familiar sassy smirk present on his face as he cheekily rubbed his hands together.
