Love At First Sight

Chapter 1

[Lexi]

"Bye Mom" I say as I open the door to leave for Starbucks before heading to the mall. "Bye sweetie, have fun." Then I walk out to my car get in, hook up my phone to listen to music. Then drive off to Starbucks.

I arrive at Starbucks and order my usual, a caramel frappuccino. As I walk back out to my car I run into a solid chest and immediately say "I'm so so-" until I come in contact with a beautiful pair of emerald green eyes. Then a very raspy voice says, "No I'm sorry I should have watched where I was going." It was like I was in a movie, he was like a dream. This sounds so cliche, but seriously. His voice was so deep with a small British/ English accent. Then I say, " I should've been looking where I was going too." then he speaks up again, " I'm so clumsy no worries. So what's your name?" I answer, " Lexi, and you are?" He then answers, " Oh sorry, I'm Harry it's nice to meet you Lexi.", "Likewise." Then we say bye and I drive off to the mall, but I can't stop thinking about him. What's wrong with me?

So I went into Starbucks and got tea like usual and got in my car to drive to the mall. I need more cologne. When I arrived I suddenly see a familiar face, it was Lexi the girl I just ran into. Literally. She is so beautiful, when I looked into her brown eyes it was like the world stopped for a second. So I walked up to her and said, " Hey." Then she turned around and said, " Hey, Harry right?" "yep that's me" In a joking manner she laughed and said, " Are you stalking me?" I laughed and said, " No."

We ended up walking together in the mall and telling each other stuff about ourselves. She tells me that her favorite color is aqua/turquoise, and mine are orange and blue. She also says that she is 18 and I tell her I''m 19. Then I speak up, " Well I guess I should actually get what I came to get." and she replies, "Yeah me too, it was really nice to get to know you. I hope we can do it again." When she said that I got so happy for some reason. Do i like her? No..... Yes I do I like Lexi. So before she walked away I ask, " Can I have your number?", " Yea, can I see your phone?" I give her my phone, she gives me hers and she types in her contact info as I do the same on hers." Here you go, you can text me at anytime, but I might not respond right away." " Ok, will do." I say and we go our separate ways.

I get what I need from the mall and get out being that I hate coming to the mall, I do have to say Lexi made it way more enjoyable.

When I get home I immediately text her

Me: Hey

Lexi: Hey

Me: Whats up?

Lexi: Nmu

Me: Same I'm really bored.

Lexi: Yea. Are you busy?

Me: No are you?

Lexi: No. Wanna hang out?

Me: Sure, where?

Lexi: Could I come to your place, my parents are driving me insane.

Me: Yea that's fine my parents are chill. Do you want me to come get you or will you drive?

Lexi: I'll drive.What's the address.

Me: 202 North Brookes St.

Lexi: Really? Forget about me driving I can walk. My address is 212

North Brookes St.

Me: Cool, see you soon.

Lexi: Yep

[Lexi]

Wow, I can't believe I just did that. I'm going over to Harry's house. Am I dreaming. This is gonna be hard. I'm gonna blush as soon as I see him, Oh gosh what did I get myself into.

I tell my mom I'm going to Julie's and she tells me have fun. So I leave. The walk felt long because of my anxiety of seeing him. When I finally arrived I let him know I was here and he came and let me in. His house is beautiful. " Wow Harry your house is beautiful.", " Thanks." Surprisingly he looks a little nervous too. He speaks up again, " My parents went out for dinner last minute, I wasn't hungry." " Ok. So what school do you go to?" "I go to California College of the Arts , how about you?" " I just graduated high school and am actually attending CCA this fall." I answer. He speaks up, " That's awesome. It's a great school. What are you going for? Do you sing, dance, play an instrument or what?" I answer, " I sing and dance, what do you go for?" " I sing too." He answers. I'm about to ask a question that I'm going to regret. " So do you have a girlfriend?" I ask extremely nervous. Then he parts his lips to speak. " No I haven't actually had a girlfriend for a while, but I do like someone." The smile that was on my face fades when he says he likes someone. " Oh have you told her yet?" "No because honestly I'm afraid she won't like me back or she will have a boyfriend." If he only knew, I like him and I don't have a boyfriend. " Well Harry you are a great guy, she will like you."

[Harry]

"Well Harry you are a great guy, she will like you."

If she only knew I was talking about her. Should I tell her. Okay here it goes. "So Lexi," she hums in response, " I know that we just met today but you're the girl I like." She was silent which was kind of scared me until I looked over and saw her smiling and I started smiling too. I was about to say something when she cut me off by saying, " I was hoping you'd say that because I like you too." Then I asked, " So will go out with me?" She smiled so wide and said, " Yes I would love too."

So after like 2 hours of talking nonsense and laughing she said she had to go which made me sad because she made me so happy. When I opened the door for her to leave I said, "So I'll see you tomorrow at 7." She turned back to me kissed me on the cheek and said, " See you tomorrow!" and with that she walked down the street to her house.
