Cole X Reader - Part 9 (Hospital)

It wasn't long till Nya went into hospital to get her footless leg sorted out by medical assistants. Zane made Cole a huge ice pack for his stomach to reduce the pain and swelling. The others also got checked out by doctors too, just to be on the safe side ; but It turns out they just needed rest thankfully.

A couple of hours later Nya was sent back to her private ward, a little tipsy and confused in fact. "If she says anything odd just go with it, she's just coming off anesthesia." The doctor allowed the Ninja to visit Nya. "Ok thank you." Lloyd thanked him.

"Why is there ten people surrounding me?" Nya questioned as her head went left to right. "Nya there is five of us." Jay stroked her hair. "No there isn't, Lloyd." Nya answered back. "Just go to sleep and we'll come see you in the morning, after we've cleaned the Bounty." Lloyd arranged. "...Ok, Kai." Nya understood Lloyd who she thought was Kai. "Well lets rest up for tomorrow team, we've got a lot to do." Cole hated to break up the chat as headed out of the hospital. "I'm gonna stay here for the night guys. I'll see you all at about seven in the morning tomorrow." Jay pulled up a chair and decided to stay with Nya for the night. "Suit yourself Jay, we'll see you two tomorrow morning." Kai waved bye to Jay. "See you later, guys." Jay waved back.

The Ninja headed back to the Bounty and told Wu & Garmadon what had happened at the beach along with the fact that Nya and Jay probably won't be back till tomorrow. After that, the Ninja had something to eat and then headed to bed as tomorrow they would attempt to bring you down forever.

In the morning, the Ninja did there normal routine and then headed back to the hospital to see how Nya was doing.

Over at the hospital

"Jay?" Nya began to wake up. "Well at least you know it's me." Jay joked. "What do you mean?" Nya asked him. "Last night you thought I was Lloyd and that Lloyd was your brother." Jay slightly chuckled. "Because?..." Nya questioned rather confused. "You have one fake foot." Jay hated to point at Nya's metal foot. "WHAT?!" Nya lifted the bed covers. "JAY! WHY DO I HAVE ONE FOOT?!" Nya panicked and sat up in her bed. "You got in a scrap with (Y-N) and Cole had no choice but to cut your foot off... Other wise, you would be a dead, headless, zombie right now." Jay reminded Nya of the incident she had yesterday. "Ohh no." Nya covered her eyes and began to cry. "It's not all bad." Jay stood up and helped Nya stand up. "Am I standing on one leg?" Nya quizzed Jay as she couldn't stop crying. "No both legs." Jay kissed Nya's head. "This is too weird." Nya mentioned. "I bet it is. Can you walk?" Jay stood Nya up straight and took a couple of steps back. "No." Nya just stood there clueless. "I'll give you a kiss if you do." Jay tempted her. "This is impossible." Nya took some small, slow, steps towards Jay and eventually got to him. "All you have to do is practise and you'll fine." Jay hugged her tightly then when into kiss Nya on the lips till...

"So I see you got her walking." Nya's doctor interrupted them both. "Ha ha yeah." Jay broke the hug and just kept his arm around Nya's waist. "I've got some news for you Miss Nya. First of all you have some visitors." The doctor let the rest of the Ninja in to visit Nya. "And secondly, you can go home when ever you wish... But you won't be able to fight again till you can properly walk." The doctor announced. "But we're on a big mission tonight and I need to go!" Nya exclaimed with a worried look. "Nya, it's best if you stay at the Bounty." Kai rubbed her back to comfort her. "What about the spying Jay and me are gonna do?" Nya asked about that too. "Skylar is only keeping the noodle house open 1pm to 11pm today so we can go instead." Kai told her the cover she had. "...Ok." Nya sighed in a fed up tone. "It's for your own safety, Nya. I don't want anything bad happening to you." Kai hugged his sister. "SOMETHING BAD HAS HAPPENED TO ME, KAI! I lost a foot thanks to Cole." Nya pushed Kai away and blamed Cole. "OHH MY GOD YOU TWO ARE SUCH A LIKE! It was either loose a foot and still be alive or loose your head and life, you choose!" Cole raged out and left as he couldn't take much pressure any more. "...Cole wait up." Jay chased after him.

"Look it wasn't your fault. You did what you had to do, to keep her alive." Jay put his arm around Cole. "I know but they're taking it all in a wrong way." Cole sighed as he left the building with Jay. "Look it's a pretty hard time for Nya right now. You can kinda imagine that she'll be a bit of a Hot Head like her brother right now." Jay made his point. "Yeah I guess." Cole agreed. "Look I'm gonna get ready for later, just tell Kai and Skylar not to be late." Cole patted Jay's shoulder and headed back to the Bounty.
