Cole X Reader - Part 11 (After the Blackout)

The time came and the big show down was about to begin, hopefully the Law Breaker would be behind bars and the blackout would come to an end.

"Are you all ready to sneak out?" Lloyd rounded up the ninja. "Yep." The rest of the ninja crew nodded. "Brilliant. We'll tell Wu we're heading out and then we will go get Skylar." Lloyd explained the first part of the plan.

"Good luck out there guys, you're gonna need it." Nya stood in the door way. "Thanks sis." Kai patted her shoulder. "Nya do you know where Wu is?" Lloyd questioned her. "He's hanging out with Garmadon trying to get a connection through Zane's monitor so we can see what's happening." Nya answered the question. "Ok. Will you just tell him that we're going now?" Lloyd ask her. "Of course. Now getting going, you can't mess this up." Nya forced the ninja out, so they wouldn't be late.

"Lets go down this ally so no one sees us down town." Kai lit his hand so he could see where he was going. "But what if we get in a fight?" Jay pulled him away thinking of safety. "Jay, only chefs go down this ally to take out the trash, plus it'll lead us straight to the noodle house." Kai shrugged Jay off and headed down the Chef's ally.

The dark, dim, damp ally was just rotted. It smelt of used bin bags that were waiting to be taken away. The only light was Kai's hand and the fly lights that we're on top of the back door's of the restaurants.

"Kai, you sure you know where you're going?" Jay crossed his arms as they all ended up half way down the ally. "Yes. We just turn left and the look to the right and you'll see Skylar closing down for the day." Kai leaded the ninja to their destination. "Ohh you finally did something correct for a change." Cole joked around. "Well, I do try... Wait... WHAT?!" Kai brushed his shoulder's then noticed what Cole said. "So you guys ready then?" Skylar checked the time on her phone. "More than ever, Skylar." Kai pushed himself to her and made a move.

It was spot on midnight by the time Lloyd, Kai, Jay, Cole, Zane and Skylar had made their way to the store. Everything was pitch black and dead silent.

"Right lets hide in the bushes till we get any sign of her." Cole crouched down in some bushes. "Maybe she's all ready inside." Kai suggested. "No she isn't." Zane lowered his voice. "How do you know?" Jay asked. "Because she's over there." Zane pointed at you. "Ohh shit, be super quite you lot." Cole whispered as he just witnessed you.

Your POV

I walked to the front of Cyrus Borg's store also know as my next target. I knew where I was gonna get in, but first I had something to check out. I heard some sticks crack in the bushes from across the road. Better be safe than sorry I said to myself then slowly took out a samurai sword and put myself in a fighting stance.

Back over to the ninja.

"She heard us." Jay alarmed Cole. "Shit, shit, shit!" Cole searched around the floor for something to distract you. And then he found a little Black Mamba snake. Cole picked it up and made it slither out of the bushed so you thought it was a snake all a long. "Nice one, Cole." Lloyd patted his shoulder.

Back over to you.

"Thank fuck it's just a snake." You relaxed yourself and slipped your samurai sword away. After you walked back to the high tech secured building, you climbed it with a grappling hook that you had attached to the top.

"Right follow me, guys." Cole backed up out of the bushed and sneaked to the back of the building. "Just how exactly are we gonna climb a thirty foot building?" Kai pointed out the height. "Airjitzu." Cole replied. "Fair enough." Kai nodded, picked Skylar up and used Airjitzu to get himself and Skylar up.

Once the ninja were on top of the building, they saw that you had cut a hole into the roof with a laser so you could jump in. Cole peeked through the human sized hole and as he did, he watched you run to the security room so you could disable the CCTV cameras. Once you'd done that, it was time for you to do your job and time for the ninja to sneak in and hid.

"Ok, she's disabled the cameras and starting to rob the place, so it's time to split up and hid while I go and confront her." Cole re-spoke out the final part to complete the plan. "Sounds good." Lloyd slipped through the hole as the others followed. Cole went in last as he wanted to be the biggest target here. Not just so he could confront you, but so the others had more time to hide; making them a smaller target.
