X-Men: Unleashed

Chapter 1

Its been a though day for Gold (Real Name: Marigold Winters Age: Unknown Occupation: Clerk in a private company somewhere in N.Y). She is exhausted and totally tired of working and acting as a normal human. And since its Friday Night, she decided to unwind and visit a bar near her place. Before she enter, she received a message from her friend Jean Grey. (Ability: telepathic and telekinetic)

From: Jean Grey

“Hey girl, where are you? I need to tell you something about your son Jimmy. Please do reply”

But she ignore the message. She trust Dr. Jean Grey for whatever it is, for she know that her son is very much safe with them. She just put her phone back in her bag and push the door of that bar.

Winter Residence:

“She’s not answering my calls”, Jean declare after enormous attempt to call Gold.

“Where do you think she goes?”, Scott asked her while looking at the baby lying peacefully in crib.

“I don’t know Scott”, she sighs.

“This boy grow very fast. Is this because of his mutation?”

“Yes Scott. I guess its because Gold and Logan’s ability to regenerate fast is the cause of his body fast growing stage until his adulthood”

Bar:

Its been her 10’th beer but the alcohol still didn’t affect her. She sigh. She get her wallet and leave a bucks in the table.

Gold stood up and headed the door.

A few blocks away from her place. She saw three familiar shadow in her way.

And one of them is a mutant she will never forget.

“How’s your life Gold? Are you tired of being normal?” it’s Mystique (Name: Raven Identity: Blue Creature with a scales very similar to a chameleon. Ability: to copy one’s identity and DNA either human and for Mutant’s his/her abilities/ gifts/ talents).

“Tss”, Gold spit. Her sign of being rude.

Stranglehold and accumulation were written all over Mystique face. 

Pyro (Name: John. Ability: to control fire) taps Mystique shoulder, “Just calm down. Remember what Magneto wants from her”

Gold look straight to Wolverine’s eyes (Name: James Logan Ability: Regenerate fast, and his famous claws that can slice everything). 

In her surprise, Wolverine eyes look to other side of the street without moving his head. 

She devilishly smile.  

She knew at that time, Logan is not totally controlled by Magneto.

“I’m giving you three minutes. What do you want from me?”, Gold asked directly.

“Magneto wants you to join our team and be more –“

Gold didn’t let Mystique to finished.

“And still my answer is NO”, she answered back.

The wind blows and some hair strands cover Gold’s face, she gather them and put it behind her ear, touching her pearl earring.

“Why you keep hesitating what is good for you?”, Pyro asked

“And why you and your so called brother hood keeps on inviting mutants for which you already knew the answer”, sarcastic were all over her voice.

“What if Magneto gave Wolverine back to you that is if you join our team”, its Mystique.

That caught her attention. She looks again to Logan eyes. Hoping for an answer. She saw how Logan’s eyeballs move from left to right. There code of disagreeing to ones offer.

“What if I still refuse?”, hesitation were on her voice.

“We will have no choice but to use Logan to convince you---“, Pyro mentioned in a cliff hang voice. “In a violent way”, Pyro grin.

She again look to Wolverine eyes.

She got the same answer she got before. She sigh and shook her head and laugh after.

She put her office bag near a post light.

Gold looked at them and smirked on Logan 

“Then----“, she took a deep breath. She raise her hands and let her claws to grow, she looked at Logan’s eyes, “ Let’s start it Logan”
