Ch.11

Haley's POV

It's Tuesday morning and today I wore a gray tight shirt, with PINK crop yoga leggings and my hot pink vans that Maddie and I are matching with

After I was done doing my hair and putting on some make up, I went down stairs to eat a quick breakfast.

I grabbed a granola bar and some yogurt.

10 minutes later the bus was on its way, I said goodbye to my mom and dad and walked out the door to the bus stop.

The bus ride at school is pretty wild, my bus is always crazy. The 6th graders are absolutely the worst. There sooo annoying, but I just completely ignore them with headphones.

Ahh music is my escape.

I just got a notification, Hayes tweeted. I automatically opened the tweet up, favorited it and retweeted it. He said "Good morning everyone ☀️"

I tweeted him back saying "Morning babe, have fun at school"

Like he's going to see my comment. I huff. I always have high hopes, it kinda sucks.

The bus finally pulls into the lot.

I walk to my locker and Tyler sees me.

Hey Haley, good morning, he says

Hi, good morning to you too, I replied

There was an awkward silence until he spoke up

Sooo, about this Magcon event, how long is it? He asks

3 days, but sometimes they stay a little longer for vacation stuff, I said

That's cool, my sister just actually found out about them last night, she got the app last night , he said

New born, I thought to myself

Hhaha, you must be happy, I laughed

Well no, but considering with that, she likes Hayes too, he laughed even more than I did.

That's not funny, I said

Yes it is, I gotta go, I'm gonna be late to homeroom, see ya, Tyler said

Byeee

My morning in homeroom was okay, Tess and Kali are getting on my nerves more and more each day this week, because sadly there going to Magcon too, yippyy

I get through 1rst, 2nd, 3rd period. I don't have any classes with Maddie. The only class she's in with me is French. So lunch time is the only time I can communicate with her. 4th period comes along and it's finally lunch time.

I run to my locker and get my lunch box. Maddie is walking towards me.

Hey Haley, she says

Maddie I missed youuu, I say almost screaming.

Sorry I couldn't text you back last night, I was busy doing homework and studying, she says nervously.

It's okay, let's go eat I'm starving

I sat down with my group of friends. I started to eat my peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

My table is always gossiping and talking, but something feels a little weird. Maddie doesn't seem like herself today.

Are you okay, I asked her

Yeah just a little tired from studying, she replied.

Ohh, is all I could respond with.

Maddie's POV

Lunch today is so awkward. Hiding a secret from your best friend is the hardest thing to do. I'm also not that good with keeping secrets, I always spill. But this one is huge.

I didn't talk much, I just mainly gossiped about Magcon this weekend, and Matts new video on YouTube came out last night. That was pretty much it, same old same old.

10 minutes left of lunch, the remainder of that time I just thought about everything that happend last night. I wonder what Hayes is planning. Me being behind all this makes me dizzy just thinking about it.

First, off I was talking to Hayes Grier

Second, he found my Instagram and twitter and has apparently been stalking my friend and I for quite sometime.

Third, he's in love with my best friend!

^^^ I think that's absolutely crazy.

Let's go, Haley told me.

Lunch was over and I have 2 more periods until, Haley and I have French class. Hopefully I can break the air between us, and actually have a conversation with her. She probably thinks I'm scared about magcon this weekend.

To be honest, I kinda am nervous for this weekend because of Hayes's plan.

Just a couple of months ago, I never would have thought I would be meeting the guys.

And then shortly thought again,

Hayes Grier knows Haley exists.

He knows I exist

Her dream is coming true as much as mine is.

This event will not just be an ordinary event.

It will change not just mine and Haley's life , but Hayes's too.

And who knows, Hayes could maybe even set Matt and I up for a date or something.
