Ch. 14

Maddie's POV

Its a good day so far. I need to talk to Haley about this weekend. I don't mean about the "meet up with Hayes" I'm talking about his birthday surprise, don't be silly. She can't find out. If she does, everything would be ruined.

It's fourth period and the lunch bell rings. I push my way through the peasants to get to my locker.

I unlock it and grabbed my lunch box.

I then walk to Haley's locker.

Hey Haley!!! We need to talk!

Yess! Let's goo, she exclaims

She looks pretty happy. That's good because I thought she would still be a little worried for me, for the way I have been acting.

Luckily she just ignored it and moved on.

All of our friends sit down at our table.

I pulled out my sandwich and water bottle and turned to Haley to talk.

Ill probably won't even touch my food because we have ALOT to talk about.

I turned to Haley to talk to her.

Okay, so I have to perfect plan!

Good, spill she said

Let's first start off what are we going to get him for his birthday. I was thinking maybe we can bake him a cake!

OMG that's perfect! How will you bake a cake in the hotel? She laughed

True.... Hmmm maybe if we bake it Friday before we leave? His birthday is Sunday, so we can give it to him then.

Yay!! We can always ask one of the guards to give it to him! And leave our twitter users so he can follow us!

Yess! I secretly thought to myself, will give it to him in person. But I remembered she doesn't even know that! Stupid Maddie

Then for his present maybe a new pair of vans? Haley said

Sounds good, that and maybe a new shirt?

Yeah, maybe after school today we can go to the mall and pick out his presents! I'll ask my parents to take us, she said

Okie dokie! I'm soo excited Haley! You don't even know. This week is going to be soooo special for the both of us

Probably the best week of our lives, she exclaimed

You have no idea.

She doesn't even know... I thought silently in my head

Lunch was finally over.

I said my goodbyes to my friends and Haley.

A couple more periods and then I'm finally going home.

Haley's POV

I sigh in relief. Home sweet home. I called my mom to see if she could take Maddie and I to the mall today.

I dialed her number.

"Hey mom can to take Maddie and I to the mall to get one of the boys a birthday present?"

"Sure honey, I'll be home in 10 minutes, be ready"

"Okay, thank youu!"

I hung up and texted Maddie real quick

H- hey my mom said she could take us to the the mall!

M- yay! Okay when are you picking me up at?
