Ch.29

Hayes' POV

After Haley and Maddie left to meet Clair, I made up a plan. I have to go follow them. Who knows what Clair will tell Haley. She'll make so much crap up, it will make Haley lose more and more interest in me.

I waited a few seconds until I followed them. Walking up the flight of stairs I could hear Haley's echoes talking to Maddie. I tried not making any noise, but then they finally reached the floor. A few seconds later I open the door to the floor I needed to be at.

Peering down the hallway I finally spot Haley. Ugh and of course Clair, she brought a friend along. I decided to walk a little closer to them, hoping I don't get caught.

"So what's up with you and hayes?" Haley asked harshly

"Well we dated in the past, but he asked me out again tonight while we kissed at the meet and greet." Clair said with a snobby attitude

OKAY NOW THATS A LIE. SHITS GONNA GO DOWN. I calmed myself down a little cause I need to hear more.

Haley looked down to the floor. Seeing her this way makes my heart hurt. She didn't reply

Clair started laughing at her reaction. She's such a bitch.

"Honey, sorry to break it to you but you'll never get a chance with him" Clair said putting a hand on Haley's shoulder

Out of no where, Haley attacked Clair. She jumped on her and the both of them where cat fighting.

WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON, I SCREAMED.

Maddie helped me trying to break Haley and Clair apart. I finally got ahold of Clair and Maddie has Haley.

WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU, I yelled at Clair.

What are you taking about silly, she laughed

It seems like everything to her is a complete joke

"I just heard everything you said to Haley"

Haley looked at me surprisingly. I would be confused if I were her too

Tell her Hayes. It's true about us. You won't admit it, Clair replied smirking

"It's absolutely not true, Haley you must believe me."

She has to believe me.

Haley's POV

I now wish I wasn't in this situation. Hayes hasn't proven that he doesn't have a thing with Clair. I still need proof, but he needs to explain to me personally.

"Hayes can we talk privately?"

Oh yeah sure, he replied running his hands through his hair.

"Maddie I'll meet you back at our hotel room okay?"

Okay take your time, she gave me a hug and Clair is standing there awkwardly with her friend.

But Hayes, Clair tried talking. She was cut off by Hayes

"Just leave Clair. I don't need your lying anymore! Grow up!" Hayes told her off

She huffed and walked away. Thank god

Do you mind if we talk in my hotel room, he questioned. It would be more private

That's fine, I replied

"Okay good. I have all night. So how ever long you want to talk, I'm here for you"

Thank you Hayes, I smiled looking just a little up to him.

Your welcome Haley. Let's go, he grabbed my hand and we both walked into the elevator.

~~~ in Hayes' hotel room~~~

Hayes' POV

I share a room with Nash and Cameron. Luckily they were not here. Haley sat down on the bed and I followed her, sitting right next to her.

"Listen Hayes. I don't know what's going on or what happened between you and Clair. Could you please explain? I really like you Hayes, a lot. Just seeing what happened today put me off track. I was confused because I actually thought you developed feelings for me" she started talking.

Butterflies began swirling in my stomach when she said she likes me. She has no clue how much I feel about her. There was a silence before I started talking

Clair is my ex, I told her

I have no clue why she came today to meet me. She cheated on me so that's how we broke up. When she kissed me today, that wasn't me. She forced the kiss, I tried backing away, but she wouldn't let me... Please believe me. Haley I like you, I have feelings for you. I would never do that to someone.

She looked up to my eyes. Gosh her beautiful green eyes. Bright but light. She stood there speechless. I guess she believes me. If she didn't, she would of said something by now

Haley there's something I have been waiting to do for a while, I told her nervously

What is that, she questioned

I leaned in, and she nodded for permission

Our lips connected and sparks began to light up. She kissed me back, while I press a little harder to deepen the kiss. It was passionate and meant something to me. Seconds later we both pull away for air.

She smiled then laughed. Ah her laugh. Sounds like angels singing in heaven. I smiled back at her. I like her. I'm crazy for her. Should I ask her?
