Ch.26

Haley's POV

My alarm went off at 6:30. Slowly my eyes opened and I shut the alarm off. Laying in bed thoughts began flowing through my head. Today I'm meeting Hayes. I couldn't actually believe that I would ever say that.

EEEEPPP! I jumped out of bed and turned my iPhone speaker on. Music always puts me in a good mood.

Walking over to my closet I picked out a pair of jean shorts and a random tee-shirt. Lucky once Maddie and I get picked up from school early we can change.

Next my straightener needed to be heated up. Once I plugged it in, I washed my face and brushed my teeth. Swiping the straightener over my hair takes like 5 minutes. I'm so glad I have wavy hair, I dunno how Maddie does it. Her hair is sooo curly.

Breakfast time! It's the most important meal of the day. I wasn't really that hungry but I had peanut butter toast with a glass of milk.

7:20 came around and the bus was going to be at my stop in 5 minutes.

On the bus ride to school was pretty intense especially in the morning since everyone is so tired. It must be because it Friday!!

Maddie and I sat in our seats together in the back of the bus. Shuffling through the songs on my playlist "Summer by Calvin Harris" came on. Every time this song comes on it kinda makes me feel ready for summer. I can just imagine spending the summer with Hayes. Going to the beach together, and watching movies on rainy days. Maddie broke me up from my thoughts.

We're at school, she exclaimed

Oh, i quickly threw my book bag over my shoulder.

Am I dreaming? What was I thinking?!Once I meet Hayes this weekend, he probably won't even remember me after. It sounds sad but to him I'm just an ordinary fan.

Cheer up Haley, I think positively.

Walking into the school I noticed Tess and Kali aren't at school today. First period would be so dreading if they were.

Walking into the school with pride, I went to my locker and grabbed my books. Maddie and I then walked down to the office to drop off our notes to get picked up early. After that we said our goodbyes and the day was started...

•After lunch•

5th period was my special right after lunch. I was currently in Info Tech. This class bores me so much. Seriously all we have to do is stare at the screen for an hour. It hurts my eyes.

I glanced at the clock, 12:50. Could time go any slower? Just 5 more minutes and I can leave this class.

There's no point to be doing this work. I sat for the remaining of the class. Once the clock struck 12:55 I jumped out of my seat and gave my info tech teacher my pass. He looked really annoyed, maybe because I'm missing work. I do fall behind in this class. Oh well.

Pushing the door, I walked out of class. My locker is up stairs so I took the nearest stairs. Practically skipping in the hallways I run into Maddie! We both quietly screamed.

Ahhhh!! Are you ready for Magcon, she asked excitedly.

YESSSS!! Let's go pack your stuff, I replied while running to my locker.

My hands shaking, I surprisingly open my locker. Hmm I guess the only homework I have is this weekend is Science. After grabbing all my materials, I heard someone shout my name.

"Yo, Haley wait up"

It was Tyler....
