Maddie's POV

Haley and I said good bye to her mom and both walked into the mall.

It was crowded for a Wednesday night. Being white girls, we had to get Starbucks.

Let's go sit down at a table, Haley exclaimed.

Sounds good, I then sat down at a table near by.

So when is your mom picking us up? I asked

She said just to call her when we're ready, she said

Okay, I said while swallowing my double chocolate chip frappuccino.

Wanna start walking around, I asked

Sure, let's go!

The Vans store is down stairs so Haley and I went down the escalator.

I then felt a vibrate...

I got a text message from "Josh" which is Hayes. Lol

"Hey I'm in Atlanta!!! "

"Yay!!! Can't wait for this weekend!! And your birthday ;)" I texted him back.

Being smart, I shut my phone off so Haley couldn't see who I was texting.

We walked into the Vans store, hmmm so many things to get him.

Okay what color Vans doesn't Hayes have, Haley asked.

Ummm, I don't think he has a red pair, I replied.

OMG yes! I don't think he does. That's perfect! She said

We found a red pair off the shelves.

What size do you think he's in, I asked

I think a 10 maybe? he's 5'7 so around there, Haley replied.

Okay, they look like they would fit.

After that we found his size and Haley held it in her arms. Now all we have to get is a shirt to match his shoes.

How about this shirt, Haley said while holding up a red shirt with cool designs on it.

Perfect, it looks new too, he might not have it!

Okay let's check out!!

While waiting in line, I heard some screaming.

Do you hear that?, Haley asked me

Yeah, is someone fighting, what's going on?

The screaming got louder and louder.

Haley and I quickly payed for Hayes present and we both split the cost.

We then ran out the door to see what the screaming is from.

I could not believe my eyes!

It was Hayes and Nash, surrounded by all these screaming girls.

Before Haley could see anything , I quickly grabbed her arm.

Haley uhh I have to go to the bathroom, let's go, I said

No I wanna see what the girls are screaming about. What happens if it's one of the Magcon boys!?? She said

No it's an emergency! I need to go the the bathroom now, I said while pulling her arm.

Ugh whateverrr, Haley replied angrily.

I quickly ran into the stall and pulled my phone out and texted Hayes.

M- hey Hayes you need to get out of the mall! Haley and I are at the mall now! She can't see you.

He replied shortly with...

H- how? I have all these girls surrounding me!

M- uhh I don't know, but Haley wants to see what the screaming is from. She thinks it's one of the guys.

H- she can't see me yet, I won't have time to talk to her right now with all these girls around me.

M- just please go into a store or something so she can't hear the screaming, I'll tell her mom to pick her and I up now.

H- okay, i guess

Maddie are you done?, she asked me

Yeah, I said while flushing the toilet.

We then both walked out of the bathroom.

I don't hear the screaming anymore? Haley said confusingly

Same, I then got a text message from Hayes...

H- hey come to Pacsun, it's the closest store Nash and I moved into.

M- what!? Are you crazy! How am I suppose to see you with Haley!?

H- call her mom and tell her that her mom needs to talk to her or something, but I need to talk to you ASAP!

M- ugh I'll try brb.

I then called Haley's mom,

Uh, hello Mrs. Montgomery, it's Maddie. Can u pick Haley and me up at the mall now ?

Yes, I'm in the parking lot now actually, she replied

Okay on our way out!

I hit the end call, and talked to Haley

Hey Haley your moms here, she needs to talk to you

Okay, well let's leave then, she said

No, um actually I'll be out in a couple minutes. My mom um texted me to get her a Starbucks drink.

Okay, don't be long. I'll see you in the car, she replied

Sounds good, text me if there's any problems.

She walked off and I quickly ran to the Pacsun store and texted Hayes

" Haley's outside, I'm coming now!!"
